I became a server again because I can make almost $5k a month with WAY less hours!! And then I don’t have to deal with people and parents like you all pretending everyone ELSE is wrong and “stupid” for asking questions and telling people how fucked up they are via internet when probably have nothing valid to offer society!
I am happy with my choice, I make so much more money since the American education system is GARBAGE! We do not even rank the top 25-30 in ANYTHING world wide! Hence why they keep cutting funding, keeping Americans dumb… corpo owned media, trolls on the internet, “news stations” but truly a version of “The View”, TikTok/FB for “news” etc. it’s honestly embarrassing!

Oh my gosh! My friend just legit just told this to me yesterday when I was talking about how a person at work came at me because they found out I didn’t believe what they did it was legit almost the same… that’s so weird! Honestly, thank you so much!

We already live in such a world of hate and war, we don’t need trolls and horrible people trying to tell us otherwise stating they “have degrees” same! I have a PHD and just got accepted for another and I NEVER let anyone feel less than!
I legit am a server because I am making with all my degrees and such and that’s just savage but I don’t harp on anyone because who am I to judge or interpret what’s going on, nor where we go when we die. All I know is that our matter goes somewhere and who is it to a “JOE BLOW” to tell me it isn’t heaven, hell, etc. NO ONE can scientifically prove that.

Yeah, the 30 calls I get a day asking me to come “verify my status” is terrifying. I am scared about ICE every time I got into the city and I am legal. I want to cry just thinking about my doctors appointment on Monday in the city.
But I am talking about Trumps dad who dodged the war coming to America for refuge to avoid fighting in the war… not Donnie orange face and his made up bone spurs. His family legit came from Germany to avoid fighting illegally. They came here illegally regardless of what was going on just like many so it’s savage what’s happening.
This is the same reason almost all refugees come to America, to avoid conflicts, wars, and drug cartels… but now we are sending people all over the world paying whatever country to take them (because they are illegals), right? Legit am asking, not sarcasm (internet can’t understand my voice) legit trying to understand.
And I know American politics and the geo politics that are involved make my head spin because I believe they try to justify all their actions and it’s only hurting our economy and country.

I think I know the understanding of what’s truly going on with trade, the way Trump is trying to change our country in an authoritative state, and all around got information I truly needed as media is portraying it one way but not the truth just “their truth” and I have learned most media outlets are owned by them. And with Kirk’s death it just terrified me to see the amount of support that came from the GOP and making him into a martyr and that’s what happened before and why my family left.

You do realize that not tipping people will NOT help the problem but only hurt the people trying to work their asses off for tips and such… (you alone cannot change govt - you only hurt fellow citizens). But I agree we need to be paid more but note…
I quit my teaching job to make 3X as much as a server with half the hours… that’s the fucked up problem in America!
Also, how much we are taxes to see no change we threw tea in the ocean but we’re letting the current govt collect like 30+% of our wages as billionaires pay nothing their entire life… THATS THE PROBLEM!

I agree, in MN we get paid pretty well as servers but agree some restaurants do this MOSTLY CHAINS, I am in a mom and pop and they haven’t raised prices in 2 years even after the fiasco of egg prices going crazy and then Drumpf saying he’ll bring him down which never happened. We never raise our prices… so people should also make that realization.
But thank you for understanding the fucked up system of tipping, I quit my teaching job because I make almost 3X as much with 1/2 the hours and that’s sickening! And then you have the servers complaining about how other people have better tips, it’s so much drama!
But I thank you for tipping honestly, a lot of people do not understand the importance of take out or serving in a restaurant and if they don’t get it… they need to watch the moving “Waiting”. Not saying I would do anything in that moving but others def will… so basically, don’t fuck with the people who serve you food…
