Aaand that’s how statistics work. But you should always be wary of the sample size! Especially in comparison to the “thing”, like if 1000 people were asked questions and they came from India, that’d be a really bad survey.

I don’t even get why people are addicted to them. I watch at most 5 a day. And most days 0. I guess that’s the advantage of desktop, the controls aren’t dumbed down to just flicking my finger across the screen.

Here’s a good writeup of why Brave is an option that really should be avoided
Ah, I see… Yeah, that’s pretty bad. Run by a bigot, and the company is injected with Peter Thiel money, and they’ve injected referral codes to URL’s. Oof.
What’s funny is the mention of Vivaldi as a better alternative, which is what I use currently, but I didn’t suggest it as the builtin adblocker isn’t as good as µBlock Origin. No extended syntax unfortunately, so it’ll not block ads on eg. Youtube.
Ill also throw IronFox on Android and SnowHaze on iOS into the mix for non-desktop users.
Oh yeah, IronFox on Android is amazing. My choice of browser as well.

I wasn’t aware Brave was transphobic. I just knew they were kinda crypto-sketchy.
I also tested Pulse Browser which unfortunately has been discontinued and won’t even open HTTPS sites. And I also tested Otter Browser which is loosely based on Opera Presto, but unfortunately it uses a pretty old webkit engine. But those browsers also come with builtin adblock.
I was aware of Librewolf, I just thought the default security might be a bit much if in a hurry. - Comment on Anon uses the internet like a normie 4 days ago:
I know this isn’t someone asking for a solution, and maybe you don’t have rights on the computer to do so, but opening a command prompt and typing in
winget install Brave.Brave(orwinget install --id=Brave.Brave -e) gets you a browser with builtin adblocker real quick. - Comment on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 mods are flowing, offering quicker movement, more blood, and a manicure 4 days ago:
I was kind of hopeful seeing as Paradox was backing it, but alas.

Oof, it’s not getting good reviews. Apparently there’s no inventory, no items and no roleplay elements. I don’t even know what the game is then, but it doesn’t seem like a successor to the original game.

I’m a middle aged man now, I was around when 3D acceleration became a thing for PC, first with Voodoo 1 and so on and so forth. And let me tell ya, you don’t need 18 gigs for these graphics. Or maybe you do, maybe it takes like 200 hours to complete the game, idk. I’m just complaining about the compression.

Jeez, 18.6 gigs for a game that looks like that. I’m going to play it anyway of course, but I wonder why, with low res textures and models, that it takes that much space. Engine?

If by dealt with immediately they let him go and just gave him a 30 day ban initially, then yes. She had to talk to her manager who then talked to Twitch who then upped that ban to a permanent one. And I don’t even think the police has been involved yet.
Amazon wanted to brush this under the carpet…

Yeah, the “elusive creators” is a tough nut. If some company went bankrupt 10-20 years ago, and no trace of who holds the IP etc. that’s a lot of detective work.

To be fair, since that time, which was probably close to 10 years ago, I’ve since found out that I have autism and ADD (diagnosed last year), and I’ve found that I’m quite sensitive to a lot of medicine, meaning it’s possible I was overmedicated on sertraline. Or maybe it’s the opposite, that because of my alexithymia, meaning the few feelings I had was dulled incredibly, and the other feeling I wasn’t feeling was turned to practically 0.

- Comment on Sometimes feeling bad is a correct response to the world around us. 1 week ago:
I think the most suicidal I’ve ever been was when I was on sertraline. It dulls EVERYTHING. Orgasms was close to impossible, and if you got them: *ZAP* “icepick to the brain” kind of headache.
I get why a capitalistic society prescribes medicine like that willy-nilly, it’s easier to have zombies just doing their tasks than actually looking at the problems causing depression in the first place as OP’s meme hints at.The only medicine that has actually helped get out of a depression spiral is an ego death dose of psilocybin. Ego death does something to you, like it’s a full brain reboot. You forget what trivial problems you have doing death circles in your mind, and you remember you’re part of nature.
Mind you, I’m not recommending shrooms, in fact I’m pretty scared of them even to this day. I’ve only taken bigger doses less than 10 times in my life as it’s definitely not a party drug.

If I had a better brain I’d be writing like Arya here. Loved the little references to DC++ and Fallout: New Vegas.
Also, it’s sad it’s only now I realize what kind of guy DHH is. I’ve seen him a few times talking with Primeagen, so that was the extent of my knowledge about him up until now. And sad that Brodie Robertson is helping sanewash him, although I think Brodie is pretty oblivious when it comes to politics.

I’m basing it on spinach which stinging nettles is only 25% worse than on potassium levels. I think a baked potato might be twice as good though, but I think I’d rather try and eat 1.25 kg of stinging needles in a day than 625 gr of baked potato.
- Comment on i enjoy high fructose corn syrup too 2 weeks ago:
Good source of potassium as well. Although you’d need to eat 1.25 kilo to reach 100% recommended daily intake.
- Comment on i enjoy high fructose corn syrup too 2 weeks ago:
I mostly eat spinach now for potassium, but I just looked it up and stinging needle has only 25% lower potassium content than spinach, so at least for my use case it seems like a fairly good substitute seeing as how well stinging needle grow.
