That’s not accurate to say as it’s gives voters the most sophisticated way of voting, prevents parachute candidates, increases accountability, in parliament and ensures 95% of the vote is counted instead of wasted.

I don’t think the alternative vote or block voting is better than the current first-past-the-post system.

The UK should not apply Australia’s affirmative vote system since the results are less proportional to what the voters actually voted. Anglophones should not be afraid of having more than one mp per riding since multi-member riding districts properly reflect the vote shares. You can go with 5-member ridings instead.
Proportional representation fairly represents 95% of the vote while first-past-the-post and the instant-runoff ranked ballots do not.

I see this a lot in vegan spaces where some direct vegans are oblivious to other people’s situations, telling them to drop everything to just protest. No you can just live your life as is.
