Somehow this is less surprising than him being married in the first place.

I feel like an old man cause anime girls look weird to me. I see this stuff, the obviously hyper sexualized cartoon girls, and I’m always like “you guys know about pornhub, right? Pictures of real women, videos, millions of them are a click away!” So like, wtf is up with the cartoon fetish? I’m not shaming it, I just don’t get it.

I don’t speak polish though so that makes it difficult and scary.

There is no locking yourself out of anything in this game. Everything is a very intentional design. Look closer, try everything.
- Comment on is feeling disrespected reason good enough to change jobs? 2 weeks ago:
Absolutely. Always be open to changing jobs if you need to, and always keep that option as a back up plan even if things are going well. Know that if you find a new job it may fix some things while introducing new problems, there is always some risk to doing so. If you aren’t in a rush to get out try to line something up that makes the change worthwhile - get a promotion out of it, or at least some pay raise or other benefit. Often times annual raises suck enough that many people need to get a new job to find a decent pay bump anyway, so it’s good to be looking for that. If you haven’t interviewed in awhile line a few up as practice too, so when you find something you’re more serious about it will go smoothly.
- Comment on Anon hates smartphones 4 weeks ago:
I just got a new phone and someone asked me “do you like it?” I hesitated to answer and they assumed “that’s a no”. Well, not really, it works well and does what I need it to. But do I like it? Not really, its a tool of necessity for operating in modern society. I like my steam deck, I like my speakers, I like my bike, but liking my phone is sort of similar to liking my work laptop. It’s just a thing I have to have or be really very inconvenienced.

Shadow of the erdtree all the way. People bitched so much about it being too hard. Great DLC, was not that hard compared to other souls games (the final boss was a total bastard though holy shit I died a lot)
- Comment on The Outer Worlds 2: First Gameplay Trailer 5 weeks ago:
My main issue is a perspective thing - it felt like playing half assed fallout in space, in the sense that many questlines and stories felt very “been there, done that”. Its probably great if you haven’t played fallout 3 or new Vegas, but it just didn’t do much that was new beyond a coat of paint so I just got bored with it.

So my general understanding is that you can use a magnet to create an electrical current. Its like it pushes the electrons, like a paddle pushing water. So they coil a bunch of wire around a magnet and rotate the magnet, which moves the electrons in the wire and that gets you electrical power. But you need something to push that magnet around, so you attach that to a big ass fan and use steam to push the fan. That’s your turbine. Nuclear power is just using a hot rock to make the steam. Hydroelectric power uses a river to push the turbine. Wind power is doing the same thing, just uhhh, with wind.

Three Mile Island and Chernobyl really did change things. Prior to those incidents there were plans to build over 50 more nuclear plants in place which got canceled as a result. Currently oil and gas industries will do all they can to keep nuclear from making a come back, but for a long time they didn’t have to do shit thanks to those catastrophes.

I wish I had a way to permanently disable that mic. Why the fuck is that even there? Do console players use these?! All it does is yank priority from my actual mic if I plug it in to charge.
