- Comment on Between Linux or Windows which do you think will be first to have a viable OS for quantum computers? 1 week ago:
Finally we can tell the console people we will have PC 2!

My main reaction when I saw this us “wait? Nobody uses subscriptions?” When nearly exclusively use my subscriptions to look at things and maybe one or twice a week go on the home tab because YouTube home tab is fucking garbage. I also do this on other platforms where I have my followed tab I watch.
- Comment on How do you change the mouse over highlight color in windows 11? Where the mouse pointer is (Apps) in the photo it is easy to see what is highlighted. On the computer screen it's impossible to see 2 weeks ago:
There’s 2 accessibility options I know of that could help. High contrast mode and dark mode. For high contrast it’s.
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Ease of Access > High contrast
- Comment on Why would America declaring cartels terrorist organizations be a problem for Mexico? 2 weeks ago:
Correcte if I’m wrong, but didn’t the CIA actually make the drug cartels that are in Mexico with the whole war on drugs thing a while back?
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
(this is satire) have they tried the drug estrogen, been taking it for 10+ years, it really helps!
- Comment on Everyday it's getting closer, taking a bath with a fucking toaster 2 weeks ago:
Oh yeah I remember that my aphantasia (but with songs) does that. But thought I might help just in case anyways.
- Comment on Everyday it's getting closer, taking a bath with a fucking toaster 3 weeks ago:
Eh, been in that state for a while, but only really reason I’m still here is because statistically there’s (if I remember correctly) a 5% chance you will die, meaning a 95% chance you will survive and this society will not treat you kindly for attempting it, it literally ruins some remaining life. That is if all parts of your body survives. There’s a eugenics of disabled people in this country, marking it incredibly difficult to get any help or treatment.
So for me, I’m not afraid of dying by my own hand, I’m afraid of surviving it.

- Comment on Why is it called Lemmy 🤔? 4 weeks ago:
(Satire) because without a overseer/god we will all just walk off a cliff unless this god/overseer makes one of stand and stop us from doing it.
- Comment on If scientists could make you immortal but could only do it by transferring your consciousness into a single video game for ever, which game would you choose? 4 weeks ago:

- Comment on If I’m mostly attracted to men, is it «wrong» to consider myself pan? 4 weeks ago:
Eh like gender, sexuality is ever changing and always hard to define, so go with what you feel like best describes you, but perhaps pansexual but leans towards men more perhaps?
Of course with me I like to give people percentages because I find it entertaining, and more accurate than just pan-sexual in a way.
- Comment on Doordash deserves it's fate 4 weeks ago:
As someone who is disabled and known people who are disabled, we don’t have the luxury of going out to eat as it is incredibly hard on us, I don’t use them but if I want to get nice food from a restaurant I really don’t have a choice besides delivery and there’s not a lot of places that do delivery without these apps (and some places hide that it’s doordash and say it’s there own)
For one of the people I knew in the past who couldn’t cook there own food because of there disabilities, they heavily relied on doordash type services and they barley ate because being disabled means your incredibly poor, but this anti human society doesn’t care about disabled people.
- Comment on What is the weirdest argument you’ve overheard? 4 weeks ago:
Yes I am… We are. I use I instead of we because people don’t understand it and it’s easier in online spaces to just use I instead of we.
- Comment on What is the weirdest argument you’ve overheard? 4 weeks ago:
If specific people existed when they where right in front of them existing. Those people are LGBT people and it’s happening to much.
- Comment on Reddit Sub Ban Wave 4 weeks ago:
Blahaj instance is the place I go to the most for LGBT stuff, don’t really have much recommendations as I tend to browse my “all” feed.
- Comment on Reddit Sub Ban Wave 4 weeks ago:
Tell your friends to tell everyone you know who’s LGBT I posted in all my places to tell them all we have lemmy witch is far better. Reddit and block it but can’t block others from spreading the Lemmy word

- Comment on Why do some people assume all immigrants are illegal and should "go back to where they came from"? Shouldn't that logic apply to all non-Native Americans? 5 weeks ago:
American fascism doesn’t care what’s true or what’s right. It cares only to kill and enslave people who are “undesirable”

That sounds nice but it’s owned by a giga corp so if it was created it would be garbage full of micro transitions.
- Comment on Should I avoid communities on lemmy.ml? 1 month ago:
I would be more careful on Lemmy.world. Feels like a lot of Lemmy.world doesn’t like instances where they question things like capatilism and such. I have blocked more communities and users on lemmy.world them .ml.
But that’s my own personal experiences.

Every so often I have to go recheck my old meta accounts to make sure there still deleted. I have noticed that they somehow become undeleted without me knowing or wanting it.

- Comment on May not be the right place but here it goes. One of my brothers passes or get extremely tired if he sees porn. Even a sex scene in a movie he has to go lay down. Is there something wrong with him? 1 month ago:
Other responses so far are valid but as someone who has known people with this kinda reaction to sex stuff, they had cptsd from sexual assault as a child. It triggered them. Things from childhood can pop up later in life. Or maybe a recent experience could have.
Or it could just be blood pressure. Idk. But wanted to give you my experience and knowledge.
- Comment on Boomers with their loud Samsung phone sounds 1 month ago:
Very true it is accessible. Although I don’t know any phone or anybody that’s able to hear words from phone vibrations like that. Is this a new type of accessibility option?
- Comment on Boomers with their loud Samsung phone sounds 1 month ago:
I know boomers do it but I also see every generation do it. I know boomers do it because it’s a accessibility reasons due to age and poor hearing and the phone will not get loud enough for them to actually hear it without speakerphone.
I fucking hate it regardless but how else are people with poor hearing able to actually hear anything on these phones though.
Usually most of the time the main problem I have is fucking people playing music on there phones, usually people 25 or younger who just don’t care about others. I get more of them then actually boomers doing it.
Learning technology when you grown up without it and then expecting to learn all about it when your aging and getting older and brains just don’t work as well.
Regardless of who it’s fucking annoying and I hate it but I mainly blame the companies who don’t incorporate better accessibility for people and society (mainly past society) just never teaching people and society as a whole for this fucking American shit culture we have.
- Comment on if you've had or have anger issues, how did you become a better human? 1 month ago:
Pretty much the same. I didn’t realize how angry I was before and how emotionally violent I was before I transitioned a decade ago.

Something I watched in my women empowerment group I go too on YouTube called “miss representation”
It’s a old somewhat interesting documentary but may help understand.
