Not everyone went to the same school, and not everyone went to school, for any number of reasons. I first attended a health class in college.

It’s also noteworthy that there’s situations where a persom could easily see and owl do a full 360 (and more) if the owl has it’s head turned one way and then turns it the other.
270 in each direction for a total of 540 and all that.

Granted, it was 110c, but it was also only 6 minutes at that temp for Vladimir Ladyzhensky to die. I stand by my statement. 100c air temperature is immediately life threatening.

Are we talking about the ambient temperature in the room or something else? Cause room temperature at 100c is immediately life threatening.

For what it’s worth, they are also available on Amazon. I’d be willing to guess they’re available on other online stores, so all hope may not be lost for you.

Dunno if these fit your needs, but this is the pair I have. Had them for maybe 6 or 7 years (light use, mostly just wear them indoors) and they’re in great shape. Solid rubber sole, super warm, very comfy. I feel like they run small (I had to get a size up from my usual). Only gripe is that they had a tag on the inside that was tough to cut out cleanly.

Using what baseline? 50 degrees is half the boiling point of water, using the logical baseline of zero.

Hell yeah, 4U is a great intro to the series. I started with Freedom Unite but it didn’t stick. Played Tri for the wii and that’s what really got me into it (which is weird cause tri is clunky as hell and I think has the least content of any mainline game).
Never really got into charge blade, but GenU did a lot of favors for my two favorite weapons at the time, great sword and gunlance, and the online bosses are absolutely nuts.
Rise is probably my favorite gameplay wise, but I prefer the pre-world armor skill system, and I’m not too keen on the Sunbreak endgame grind.
As far as old titles go, Freedom Unite is very iconic and has a ton of content, but I like portable 3rd way more. The general atmosphere of the areas and town are excellent, and it introduces Zinogre to the game so well. There’s also an english patch floating around for it if you can’t read japanese.

Yeah I hopped on global and played a bunch but dropped it for a while after I learned that NGS sucks. Been playing it again, just sticking to base PSO2 and popping over to NGS for login bonuses and only the dailies that have the highest reward to clear time ratio. Base game is still great, but the playerbase tanked since there’s no new content being made. Ngs has fundamental problems that no amount or quality of content will fix, and it’s getting extremely half assed content anyway.
I honestly can’t wait until SEGA just drops the game altogether so I can hope that private servers start popping up like Ephinea and a few others did with PSO Blue Burst (which is still active if you’re looking for that old school PSO grind).

I was wondering if PSO (and/or PSO2) would get mentioned. PSO2 is my most played by far. Probably my most consistently played game too. Played off and on since 2012.

Ayy which MH is your favorite? Which one brought you into the series? I’m also a huge monster hunter fan, Generations Ultimate is one of my favorite games of all time.

Also the fact that the grain on the side of the shell is perpendicular to the grain on the top, and it changes where the cat ear comes up in front of it.
Very telltale sign of AI is a change of pattern in something when a foreground object splits it.
Not saying it’s always a guarantee, but it’s a common quirk and it’s pretty easy to identify.

Thanks for confirming. I’m glad you mentioned it, cause it’s so important for teachers to create a learning environment that students want to learn from.
My schooling was made a lot worse by teachers that had the “punish cheaters” kind of mindset, and it’s a big part of why I dropped out of highschool.
- Comment on Clever, clever 1 month ago:
The implication I gathered from the comment was that if students are resorting to using chatgpt to cheat, then maybe the teacher should try a different approach to how they teach.
I’ve had plenty of awful teachers who try to railroad students as much as possible, and that made for an abysmal learning environment, so people would cheat to get through it easier. And instead of making fundamental changes to their teaching approach, teachers would just double down by trying to stop cheating rather than reflect on why it’s happening in the first place.
Dunno if this is the case for the teacher mentioned in the original post, but the response is the vibe I got from the comment you replied to, and for what it’s worth, I fully agree. Spending time and effort on catching cheaters doesn’t help there be less cheaters, nor does it help people like the class more or learn better. Focusing on getting students enjoyment and engagement does reduce cheating though.

Fair warning, Battle of Mice can be tough to listen to. Song 6 of “A day of Nights”, titled “At the base of the giants throat” has 911 call audio from 7:00 ish to the end of the song.

Check out Battle of Mice, Deafheaven, and Oathbreaker if you haven’t. They lean pretty heavily on the depressing side of metal, but they have some killer vibes.

Saw them open for Mastodon in 2009 (I think). Fucking excellent on stage.
