A recent Digital Foundry video about the new perfect dark trailer showed a snippet of some game called "Agent 64". I wishlisted it immediately.

I get the sense from how they operate that Embracer Group generally likes the taste of cool aid.
- Comment on Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Announcement Trailer 4 months ago:
I forgot what the setting was, but the mode with the littlest deadzone/bounding box was the way to go for me. Had the butt of the wiimote rested on my leg for stability and played the game like a joystick aimed at the TV.
- Comment on Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Announcement Trailer 4 months ago:
Ah. The game I bought a switch to play, just in time for the following generation.

Prime is why Nintendo needs to embrace VR.
- Comment on Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster now available for PC 4 months ago:
Holy shit I did not expect this! This is a game I’ve been intending to buy for switch for some time, but I’m just tired of buying 3rd party games from Nintendo. Steam Deck it is!
- Comment on EU to charge Apple under Digital Markets Act, impose a fine of up to $50 million per day - GSMArena.com news 4 months ago:
Namely, the fact that Apple charges a "Core Technology Fee" for developers who want to "steer" users to offers outside of its App Store. There's also an additional 3% that goes to Apple if a developer uses its payment processor.
- Comment on Assassin's Creed Shadows: First Look Gameplay Trailer - Xbox Games Showcase 2024 4 months ago:
The game is set in Japan. Why did they set the tone using a Chinese Dizi flute? It would be like introducing assassins creed 3 with a didgeridoo.
Why not the shakuhachi?
- Comment on PlayStation VR2 players can access games on PC with adapter starting on August 7 5 months ago:
As someone who just has a PSVR2 and a PS5, I agree. I think being able to include those features in PCVR games might entice VR developers to provide more feature rich ports of their games to PS5. Here's hoping it just needs some kind of official driver or something.
- Comment on New Astro Bot Will Feature Over 150 Bots Inspired By PlayStation Characters; No In-Game Purchases Or Multiplayer 5 months ago:
I’m almost 40 and I’d say there’s no age range to this game. The little bots are adorable and goofy little parodies of the characters they’re based on, usually found doing something ridiculous. It just oozes nostalgia and charm.
Little kids will enjoy it for sure, and there’s little challenge, but adults often find smiling unavoidable. At least this was my experience with Rescue Mission for PSVR.
It’s just a cute and silly good time.

N64 was my first home console. I’m so thrilled this is happening.

Do we need to worry about GitHub shutting this down even though it’s not doing anything wrong?

It does?

Play in order of release so you can appreciate the evolution in game mechanics.
- Comment on Fallout Show, so bad that no one will remember it in 3 months 6 months ago:
The way he was built in the show, sure, but he’s supposedly very irradiated, malnourished and poorly disciplined. I think the scenario of her winning that fight on makes more sense than him looking so buff in the first place.
- Comment on Fallout Show, so bad that no one will remember it in 3 months 6 months ago:
It’s not bad, but it’s not as great as people make it out to be. For me, Silo & Severence are shows that hit a 10, The Boys is like an 8, One Piece Live Action is like a 7-8. As of the first two episodes of Fallout, I’m hovering around a 5-6. It’s fun, but I feel like I’m only engaged because I’ve been playing the games for so long.
- Comment on Fallout Show, so bad that no one will remember it in 3 months 6 months ago:
Her introduction montage at the beginning, where she was doing all the exercises and training, didn’t do it for ya? Between the two, I thought the guy was less believable given his circumstances.

Electronic Arts
Found your problem.
- Comment on Legend of Zelda 6 months ago:
OoT for me. ALttP and Link’s Awakening were already my favorite games at the time, but OoT came out at that perfect time in my life when consoles were being made for kids my age and 3D was this mysterious, exciting new thing. To this day, I usually end up replaying it about once a year, and I suspect I’ll continue doing that until I pass on.

- Comment on Sony Reportedly Pauses PlayStation VR2 Production to Clear Backlog of Unsold Units 7 months ago:
I really want a PSVR 2, but I just don’t trust the library will be there to justify it. I might get a quest because I can do more with it than just game.
- Comment on Looking for emotional game recommendations 7 months ago:
Braid is a side-scrolling puzzle platformer with a mind-bending and somewhat heartbreaking twist at the end. I played it ages ago, but will never forget it. I don’t think it was very long.
- Comment on Looking for emotional game recommendations 7 months ago:
Maybe What Remains of Edith Finch? Also, maybe it was just a weird time in my life, but I think I bawled hardest at the end of FFVII: Crisis Core back in the PSP days. Braid is an emotionally weird one as well.
- Comment on PS VR2 to add PC support in 2024 8 months ago:
They want to bring more PS5 games to PC. I’m guessing PSVR2 games are not exempt.
