I’ll always remember what I was doing on 9/11: Drinking ice coffee while watching the news after lunch. Not gay, btw.
- Comment on I'm a console gamer so, Why the hate on the Epic Games Store? 5 days ago:
People should like Epic for giving more money to developers than Steam.
They give more money to publishers* That may or may not translate to more money to developers, but seeing how the industry is going, I’m more inclined to believe devs don’t see a cent from the extra cut in most cases.

You could post a collage of all 364 screenshots together, but that must be quite a bit of work.

You’re getting very close to 365, have anything special in mind for that day?

I hate the old before-my-time ‘tank controls’ Yeah, now I feel old. Crow Country is a nice little game, very nostalgic for old people like me ;p
I’m slowly making my way through Expedition 33 and loving every minute. I think I might be stuck for a while in a boss, will have to check a guide online.
Silent Hill 2 is such a great remake, I’m glad they decided to release it DRM-free. I played the original back in 2002 with a friend, but we were high as a kite and we were teenagers, so we didn’t really understand the story that well. When I played the remake in October I ended up crying, it’s a fucked up situation. I spent months watching people play it for the first time on Twitch, quite entertaining and enlightening to see how differently everyone reacted to it. The thing every player had in common was that they started it thinking it was a cool, scary game (which it is) and ended up finding so much more. A masterpiece IMHO.
As always, thank you for your great post.

I’m one of those who has 10 or less games installed, because having more would only be detrimental to my experience. I’d be unable to choose and then I’d play even less than I already do lately.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think there’s going to be a crash in the industry sooner rather than later. The situation is becoming unsustainable.

This is great news! Pretty awesome remake.

I’ve always enjoyed trying new technologies such as Ray Tracing or HDR, but in all in all I agree with you, gameplay comes first. That’s why I’ve been falling in love with indie games more and more.

I own a NEC CRT and I use it even for modern games every now and then. I beat Silent Hill 2 Remake on it last year and it looks great. I can’t remember which resolution it was, but I only lost a bit of screen on top and bottom so it was playable even if the game didn’t come with 4:3 support.

I’ve been a PC player for 2 decades now, but it’s getting so expensive! I can’t go back to consoles after being so free, but high end PC gaming is probably over for me. I feel one of my biggest mistakes was buying my first 1440p monitor, everything gets more expensive and I put myself in that position.

highly recommended if you have the space.
And the money. Especially if you game on PC.

Since you love underwater settings, you probably know already, but Subnautica 2’s Early Access was announced not long ago. I’ll wait until it’s complete, but given their track record, I feel it’s a game many people will be comfortable buying in EA to give feedback.

I’m currently replaying the original trilogy on my New 3DS, lovely games.

You’re not alone, I loved 2016, but I couldn’t finish eternal. all that platforming diluted the essence that made Doom fun IMO.
- Comment on Suggestions for mouse only games? 1 month ago:
If you don’t mind something older, both Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic games can be played only with mouse. It’s bit clunkier than also using a keyboard, but doable. I used to play them like that while smoking many years ago.

I did try to set a safe word prior to that incident but she laughed it off and said we didn’t need one. Fortunately things never got really ugly, even if this is not the only crazy fantasy she pestered me with.
- Comment on You're* 2 months ago:
My ex pestered me for a good while with a fantasy: she wanted me to force her to have sex any day she didn’t want to. I wasn’t exactly eager to try this, but it wasn’t a problem because we were having sex every day.
But the day came, and I said “well, she’s been asking for a while, let’s get this over with”. She didn’t need much convincing, I just grabbed her by the back of her neck and told her we were going to have sex no matter whether she wanted or not and that was it (she was quite submissive in bed). After we were done I had a weird feeling because that’s not something I like to do, but I thought “at least I’ve fulfilled her fantasy and now she’s happy”, right?
Well, no. She was angry at me and when I told her “but you’ve been asking for this for months!” she answered “yeah, but I wasn’t in the mood for it today!”.
