Today is officially day 300! After Minecraft yesterday i went back to Oblivion (seeing as my initial test to see how well Xenia ran on my computer went well). I finally completed the Shivering isles and got to go back home.
One of the first things i did when i got back was go home to my shack on the pier. I forgot about the Adoring Fan that i bought the house for, but i had missed being home so much that i was even happy to see him. I loved the Shivering Isles but i was about ready to go back to the base game lol
I will say i like having to become Sheogorath. Especially meeting this guy. I don’t know what it is about him but he was very chill. I’d be down to just hang out with him for a bit.
The sights of the Shivering Isles were pretty too. The night sky was one of the best parts because you could get all these exotic colors. It really made the Shivering Isles feel abstract and outlandish.
After the Shivering Isles though, i went straight to the Thieves guild questline. I got myself probably the first 4 quests just by robbing the Magic store in the Imperial City. Immediately i went to go offload it on my friend Ongar. I made about 500 gold alone.
After clearing first few missions i made it to the first 4 tiers and unlocked my next Doyen, which would be S’Krivva. I have to say that Oblivion features by far my favorite versions of the Khajiit. They range from amazing looking too adorable. It definitely beats out Skyrim’s for me personally.
The main screenshot above came from the last mission i did for the night. It’s the one where you steal back that Ring for the one lady. I had a whole route planned. But there was just a cluster of NPCs waiting on the other side of the door from midnight until 3 AM that i just couldn’t get past. Finally at 4 AM i was able to get in. Only, i was met by a Guard just walking into a door. I ended up locking picking the door from behind him and opening it on him so i could sneak past and grab the ring. Once i had the ring it was pretty easy to get out. I had to sneak past the same guard but that was fairly easy. I do think he saw me at the last minute though. I ended up booking it though and didn’t stop until i beat the quest.
