- Comment on Microsoft breaks some Linux dual-boots in a recent Windows update 3 months ago:
yeah i remember the good old days, when windows update broke grub every time…
eventually i switched to Windows Boot Manager (built into windows) and luckily it stopped breaking….
but, as to your question, yeah it’s been years since windows broke grub… - Comment on "Maybe even sleep a little, if I'm lucky." 3 months ago:

lots of corps(e) don’t want to employ mothers of young children, as there’s lots of legally excused absences and they can’t press them for as much overtime…. - Comment on Physicists may now have a way to make element 120 4 months ago:
lazar is one of the best pieces of conspiracy evidence yet… the government tried to deny he ever worked at los alamos and erased his records… but there were newspaper articles on it, proving he did, and thus proving the government erased his records….
on top of that he never sought fame or money… just told his story and then refused interviews after that….
it was either all a psyop to fuck with the russians, or real evidence of a government coverup and a project to reverse engineer alien technology….but, the term “conspiracy theory” was made up by the cia, to make people who investigate real conspiracies look crazy….
and it’s even etymologically dumb because a theory, in science, is something that’s very well proven…. like the theory of evolution….

- Comment on The problem with the Darling 58 genetically modified chestnut tree 6 months ago:
The foundation, however, balked at the potential involvement of a for-profit company after repeated insistence from Powell that rights to Darling 58 would remain in the public domain.
of course, when for-profit companies insist that they’re doing something altruistically, that’s always trustworthy….
that has never failed 👍 - Comment on Lawsuit argues Call of Duty helped cause the Uvalde school shooting 6 months ago:
