I think it’s called fast boot. Hibernation is slightly different.

I believe windows 11 is kinda meant to do this automatically now, which is partly why it uses so much ram when you haven’t even launched anything yet…
It seems quite bad at it however.
This tool is meant to help diagnose issues with it, but I’ve not been able to try it, as the windows 11 machine I use is pwnd by my IT department and their antivirus blocks it from running 😅:

I think buying it on steam might do more to help, as at least then it shows up in sales statistics for the publisher and they might decide to fund a similar game in future if the stats tell them it’s viable…
I wouldn’t worry too much about it though tbh, if a game isn’t sold in a region you can’t expect people to buy it there 😂

how you go about learning C++ probably has an effect too, as if you’re just running a program that initially uses 2kb or ram on a system that has 64GB or similar, you probably won’t notice if it has memory leaks unless you’re checking for that 😅
