Probably double check with your doctor before drinking alcohol if you’re not allowed to take other drugs, as alcohol is also a drug.
I’d recommend soup and other hot drinks like tea or hot water with honey and lemon.
- Comment on What types of cleaning products do you *really* need to clean the bathroom? 1 week ago:
Oh ok, I dunno what it would smell like, I’ve not tried it 😅
Just been warned about mixing bleach with other cleaners so I generally just use it by itself to be safe.
- Comment on Showing you a color you’ve never seen before. 1 week ago:
I think I have seen this colour before actually 😅
In nightclubs or light shows where they have a lot of switching between red/orange and intense teal…
- Comment on What types of cleaning products do you *really* need to clean the bathroom? 1 week ago:
Just make sure the soap you use in the soapy water isn’t dish soap as that could make toxic fumes if it reacts with the bleach .
- Comment on why is radical acceptance not being a spineless conformist? 1 week ago:
That said, I’m not sure if radical acceptance is the correct response to rising facism… 🤷
- Comment on why is radical acceptance not being a spineless conformist? 1 week ago:
To add to that, a spineless conformist probably lacks “the wisdom to know the difference”. If a spineless conformist was an alcoholic, they’d continue drinking alcohol because that’s what everyone else is doing at the party they have to go to.

If it’s too expensive for the average person to buy it might as well be extinct as far as they’re concerned 😅
- Comment on whoopsie 1 week ago:
yeah it’s not as severe as the meme says, but I think it’s a tad more severe than you’re making it sound 😅
Climate change is affecting growing conditions across the globe. Natural climate variability may exacerbate the impact of increasing temperature and shifting precipitation patterns, leading to large interannual variations in yields, potentially resulting in revenue loss.
large variations in yields for the average person effectively means it’ll get way more expensive to buy, as farmers who can’t afford a bad yield will go bankrupt when they have one and will have to sell thier farms, and others will switch to a more stable crop reducing supply…

- Comment on Cheap electricity from wood? Sustainable DIY power plant off grid gas producer gasifier generator [1:05:10] 4 weeks ago:
The creator claims burning wood is sustainable based on the following logic:
Coppicing as Sustainable Forestry Management (0:34-0:47): The creator states that the wood used is from “coppiced wood,” which is an ancient form of forestry management. This method benefits the productivity of trees and biodiversity. They argue that properly managing woodlands makes them more effective at pulling CO2 out of the air. Carbon Dioxide in the Atmosphere (0:54-1:06): The creator suggests looking up the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere and how much of that is contributed by humanity, implying that the human contribution is small and that natural processes (like oceans absorbing CO2) are significant.
The first time corporations adding AI to something I didn’t ask for has actually come in handy 😅
“but just as a side note try Googling what percentage of our atmosphere is actually CO2 and exactly what percentage of that is contributed by Humanity you’ll get a very good understanding of my perspective if you do that” (0:54-1:06).

The best defense against an achy neck or back in the morning is to sleep just like you stand, says Ellen Wermter, a nurse practitioner who runs Restorative Sleep Medicine, a sleep clinic in Virginia. When you sleep in a position that follows the natural curvature of your spine, it reduces the possibility of muscle strain.
While lying down, your body should form a straight line from the top of your head to your tailbone. Wermter suggests placing your ears over your shoulders and your shoulders over your hips. Point your chin straight ahead, not tucked into your chest or stretched up toward the sky. Aim for symmetry with your arms for proper circulation.

- Comment on Is a gooner the same thing as a wanker? 2 months ago:
To add to your argument: if someone said someone is a wanker, without further context I’d assume they mean they’re an asshole. But if someone called someone a gooner, I’d know immediately that they’re referring to someone obsessed with masturbation.
