Asbestos is a very unfortunate material. It’s awesome as an engineering material- stable, formable, fairly strong, extremely resistant to high temperatures. Asbestos coatings on steel framed buildings has probably saved hundreds of lives from building collapse during fires. It’s great for so many mechanical needs.

I normally thought this way, but most cinemas make cents at best on movie tickets. Vast majority of the ticket price goes directly to the producer. The only way they cover the rest of their overhead (and stay in business) is thru concessions.
