How a game handles denuvo and assets is entirely different. Denuvo is acting like a parasite attaching itself to the game running simultaneously and hogging resources. An asset even if it’s 100 GB won’t impact performance if it is being completely ignored by the game.
- Comment on Game franchises you like, but wish were anothet genre of video game? 4 weeks ago:
I wish souls games were more like action games similar to DMC. I hate the clunky and slow movement and attacks. I loved hyper light drifter. Despite it being a souls like in mechanics, I loved how fast paced it was.
- Comment on Please suggest me Comedy Based Games 4 weeks ago:
Tales from the borderlands is one of the funniest games I’ve ever played. It’s a telltale game. West of loathing is a turn based game but it’s too unserious with lots of jokes. South park: The stick of truth is probably the best comedy game I’ve ever played. You can also try the sequels. There was an old deadpool game but I can’t remember the name. If you know deadpool, you can expect the type of humour in it. Might not have aged well though. And if you want a great game with comedy, the YAKUZA series is in a class of it’s own. One minute you’ll be laughing your ass out, and the next minute you’ll be bawling. I’d recommend not to start with yakuza 0. It’s a prequel but the story is so phenomenal that, after playing, other parts feels average in comparison.

Also invades small countries on whim, votes against the well-being of humankind, meddle in other countries’ affairs, has been in war for more than 90% of it’s existence, never held itself accountable, experiments on its own citizens, and is ruled by a cabal of paedophiles.

It completely changes the graphics into ‘ai slop’. If you look at their examples, it makes the game looks like slop videos.

- Comment on Elder Scrolls 6 Is Powered By New Version Of Creation Engine 2 months ago:
Also the reason skyrim is still popular is because their engine is way easier to mod compared to unreal. I don’t even know any unreal game that has even 10% of modding capability of creation engine. Granted it’s outdated, but it’s still the reason their games are popular. Hell even starfield recently got a star wars overhaul mod which wouldn’t be feasible with unreal. As much as people like to shit on fallout 4, it’s modding scene is still one of the most active one. And starfield’s failure was more because of scale of the world (and poor writing which has been a staple since skyrim). I’m still skeptical but also somewhat hopeful as long as they build upon the previous es formula.

Become a patient gamer. This winter sale, I bought probably 25 games totaling around 30 dollars. It’s enough to keep me busy for the next 5 years.

Agreed. It always irked me that the ancestors of birds look more like lizards than birds, when the ancestors of crocodiles looked pretty much the same.

In an ideal society,
- We would actively try to clean our environment and aggressively implement renewable energy sources in every aspect.
- If you want to live long, you need to keep your body fit. Exercise is the cheapest amount of effort you need to keep it healthy.
- Yes, there would still be many incurable diseases but society would be doing the best to find a cure.
- Torture isn’t required to run a pig farm. It happens in a society where profit is the utmost priority instead of rearing and quality. Or maybe developing something like cloning only meat instead of a full organism.
- An ideal society would implement something like universal basic income or something similar so that everyone can do whatever they like instead of menial labour. Menial labour can be assigned to autonomous systems or robots.
- Nothing lasts forever. You can’t do anything about entropy. You can worry for the inevitable demise or live in the moment.
- An ideal society would not discriminate anyone on the basis of disability or anyone’s misfortunes. There would be extensive therapies, rehabilitations, redresses and in worst case, voluntary euthanasia.
An ideal society would do everything in their power to make it an ideal utopia, so why limit it to some pessimistic depiction even in your imagination.
Life is whatever you perceive it to be. You may have a shitty hand, but it still is yours to play however you want.

That was the thing that always broke the immersion for me. Our ancestors hunted the mammoths with just spears and a hole in the ground. And you’re telling me that modern technology can’t come up with a way to properly neutralize or contain a dinosaur?

Battlefield and cod have cheaters running rampant in their official servers despite using anti cheats. They could employ a team to monitor cheating reported by players. But clearly they just don’t want to expend resources to combat that.

Why do you people get offended on our behalf for even the most minuscule thing. What’s racist about it? On the contrary, it’s fucking awesome that some Chinese manage to do this with a meager sum in such time. Why would I want people to use a non Asian person to represent an Asian guy?
