I still love it.

The word bubbles read right to left, but the panels read left to right.

I would, but I don’t have the proper permit for that.

I am shocked. Shocked.
- Comment on Square Enix considered ending Final Fantasy 11 in 2024, but player interest was high enough to keep it alive even after 20+ years 4 weeks ago:
I love ffxii. I love the seamless gameplay, even the gambits. XIII ruined the fighting for me and I remember them advertising it as real time combat or something like that. XIII already did that, and so much better.

It’s a Japanese soap opera. I don’t play games for the story, and I skipped all the intro cut scenes. By about chapter 4 I was watching all the cutscenes and shushing people so I could pay attention.

It is not an animated gif. That is an animated webp.
- Comment on What are some good examples of "Where the fuck do you go" kind of games? 1 month ago:
That’s what I like about the game. The NPCs tell you where to go to the best of their ability, and you follow to the best of yours. I like it a hell of a lot more than quest markers.

Is it anything like Anathem (if you’ve read it)? I loved Anathem, but his other books looked very different.

I love that Japan has this phenomenon and recognizes the concentrated cringe at the same time. What a beautiful country. :') If only they could fix the whole working to death thing I’d go full weeaboo and try to immigrate there.

You mean real people don’t constant exposit just in case the person is the main character?

This is the stupidest video I’ve ever seen. The editing and laugh track is just good awful.
- Comment on Seeing a lot of copium but am I fucking crazy? The market would have to do more than just recover for people to recoup their losses? 2 months ago:
You haven’t anything until you sell. Holding long-term is more profitable anyways.
- Comment on Why is society so hard to work within whether online or physically in person 2 months ago:
You’re right. I didn’t try to understand. Because it is impossible in my world. We are t living in the same universe so I can’t understand you. One of us has mental health issues. It could be me that needs help and you’re absolutely right. Or it’s you. I can’t try to understand you just like you can’t understand me.
- Comment on Why is society so hard to work within whether online or physically in person 2 months ago:
I didn’t need to try to understand. I already know. I hope you can get the help you need.

- Comment on Why is society so hard to work within whether online or physically in person 2 months ago:
I believe I took the word manifesting from one of your posts. :) But I don’t mind. I just wanted to make sure you had your answer, even if you didn’t want to hear it.
- Comment on Why is society so hard to work within whether online or physically in person 2 months ago:
I have you tagged in my Lemmy client so I remember who you are. We’ve interacted a few times, not much. I am going to tell you what I think but I’m not going to be at around the bush. I am not trying to be rude. You are mentally ill. You have some problem that isn’t being treated by whatever medicine you are on. You’ve said that your doctor is happy with your treatment, but also said you are manifesting wings. You are not. That is the mental illness talking, and that is why society is so hard for you. Your brain isn’t working on a wavelength that the rest of us are comfortable with.

- Comment on When you sleep, there are no bad times. Just dreams. 2 months ago:
My wife has narcolepsy, and she dreams a lot. Like a lot. She can tell me about her dreams for 20+ minutes. Every day. I don’t like hearing about anyone’s dreams for 2 minutes in a month. Plus it’s super exhausting for her to dream that much. So dreams can be bad times, too.
- Comment on Hypothetically, if you are in prison and want to communicate with the outside world without being detected, what are some ways to hide a message within an innocuous letter? 2 months ago:
This is the right answer. I hear they’re not hard to get in prisons.
- Comment on Are old people usually attracted to other old people? 2 months ago:
What I find attractive has generally increased as I’ve gotten older. Now that I’m a dad I’m my 30’s moms in their 30’s are way more attractive to me than when I was a teen. I live in a college town, and sure the college girls are really pretty. Buts it’s different now that I’m older. I don’t really want to be involved romantically with them anymore. They feel too much like kids. Still pretty, but not for me.
