Barycenters are not necessarily outside the objects, either.
- Comment on Say hello to Bary 1 week ago:
You’re being pedantic to levels most redditors could only dream of. Barycenter aren’t even necessarily outside the 2 objects, if you took the OP to mean that, it’s incorrect information anyways.
- Comment on Say hello to Bary 1 week ago:
I mean, sure, but you can reasonably glean that I’m just talking about the fact that any 2 objects with mass exert gravity on each other. This post is facebook-tier
- Comment on Say hello to Bary 1 week ago:
This is true about any 2 objects with mass.

“I like getting fucked over” is a weird thing yo brag about but aight
- Comment on Black Mirror AI 3 months ago:
Reflexive contrarianism isn’t a good look.
- Comment on The one drawback to walking at night 7 months ago:
Of course women experience oppression. I’m nonbinary and outwardly feminine and I get a fraction of that derision directed towards me as well. But because I won’t paint that as some inherent failing of people with XY chromosomes and point to social issues instead, gender essentialists get mad, and gender essentialists really engage with these posts.
- Comment on The one drawback to walking at night 7 months ago:
It’s literally engagement bait gender wars bullshit. This conversation is fucking useless until you start asking WHY and none of them do, they just start throwing bullshit around about their own personal anecdotes or start screaming “NO THATS NOT TRUE” “YES IT IS”
It’s a useless never ending “debate”. Man vs. Bear should’ve taught us that. Mods should’ve locked the post or deleted it already IMO.
- Comment on Evil 8 months ago:
Yeah, personally I think the copyleft the GPL grants is really powerful and it’s the only license that gets used in my projects.
- Comment on Help 8 months ago:
Nope, I’m really used to GIMPs workflow and would actually prefer if they didn’t change it. I don’t want to learn a whole new program for no benefit. If you really care go use Krita.
- Comment on Help 8 months ago:
Install GIMP or Krita instead
- Comment on Evil 8 months ago:
Is it really contrarian to like the FSF these days? I mean people seem to hate Stallman too but both are pretty important in the history and maintenance of free software
- Comment on Evil 8 months ago:
100%, and it doesn’t seem to lay out a legal definition of “good” so it’s actually worse than useless - it’s ambiguous.
- Comment on You have hell yeah! friends 10 months ago:
Don’t be Reddit. It’s obviously a joke.
- Comment on Academic writing 11 months ago:
That also sounds odd to me. I’ve been consistently taught in school to avoid passive voice and it was a huge struggle for me for a long time (case in point). I’m attending a college in Canada for the record.

Hi.

They actually raised it in recent history and people still get tin canned regularly.

This is a defense that nobody needs or asked for. If you don’t understand the very, very simple concept of clearance you shouldn’t be driving a vehicle and especially not a truck.
- Comment on Misinformation: Russian money was funneled to U.S. right-wing creators through a pro-Trump media outlet, prosecutors say 1 year ago:
Just in case anyone was curious, the media group is Tenet Media, who is associated with Tim Pool and some other folks.

Nothing as long as it’s not out of a beaker :)
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
Oh yeah, not the person you replied to directly, but it’s insanely obvious to me that this is YET ANOTHER PR stunt to make Elon look like he’s being targeted.
- Comment on Happy Weekend boiz 1 year ago:
Even if i was modeling I don’t think I could do this.

The law doesn’t function the same everywhere. When you start/run an international business, it is necessary to understand this. When you don’t, things like this happen.
- Comment on Peeble streamer on Doop 1 year ago:
Not a millennial but I will always argue that the modern internet is inherently worse for people than the internet even of 15 years ago.
- Comment on Noise 1 year ago:
You also need to have a sampling rate that’s equal to 2x the highest frequency.
- Comment on Anon's coworker is a flat-earther 1 year ago:
Anon wouldn’t have gotten anywhere with that argument anyways. If your goal is to make them stop believing then you have to ask questions without seeming like you’re leading him to a certain conclusion in any way.
- Comment on Why does it feel like too much effort just to go from sitting around looking at garbage online to simply watching a film or playing a video game? 1 year ago:
Weed made all my days disappear. No matter how harmless it might seem I’m not recommending mind-altering drugs to anybody.
- Comment on Windows just changed the desktop wallpaper and re-added the search bar without my permission after an update 1 year ago:
They didn’t say they deployed it, also enterprise operating systems are generally expected to not suddenly change manually-set policies for users…
- Comment on Try it this summer 1 year ago:
I wonder if there might be some ulterior motive to this article? I’m sure WaPo being owned by Bezos has nothing to do with it though.
