I need a video like this but for coffee. youtu.be/n02tImce3AE
I just have a gut feeling that coffee people are just as wrong about a lot of the things they say as guitar people. I can’t even test myself because at some point any and all coffee just started to taste bad to me even though it was one of my favourite things before. - Comment on Harambe's death changed everything 1 day ago:

- Comment on Videogame pirates tell other pirates to shut up about it after Subnautica 2 developers are taunted with illicit copies 2 weeks ago:
the game itself still gets updated. download pirated game -> update drops -> wait unil someone uploads it -> download latest version
If its too niche you might have the situation where nobody uploads the updated version and waiting will just get you the same version as if you didn’t wait.
repacks will generally use patch updates but I find it’s easier and less bug prone to just use a steam emu or patched steam and just replace the steamapps/common/game folder each update

Nothing astonishing, just driving long hauls every day for several years, almost every day stuck behind traffic, snow, landslides, landslide remediation crews, trains, etc. I feel tired and stressed out just looking at cars sometimes. I still have to drive a decent amount and I still want a small and cheap minimalist everyman’s EV as long as I expect to need a car, but I really wish I could just stop one day and maybe not dread them so much.

I don’t leave them unattended. I let them do whatever they want with anything already destroyed, and they seem to have fun if I chase them around to distract them from other stuff seeing as they come to poke me then run away when I stop following them.

I will 100% toss the green ones to the neighbour’s chickens. They fuck up my cabbages leaving just the veins and little poop dots then fly away as detestable white moths to fuck up everyone else’s shit. Sometimes I borrow a couple chickens and just let them go find all the yummy buggies themselves. They are so silly and make a fun show out of decimating my enemies.

Usually here you get 30 min paid 30 min unpaid. I’ve worked jobs where they force you to take the unpaid break but I’ve also worked jobs where its optional and you work and get paid for the time if you want. Or the rarity, the one job where we could work through both, go home early, and get paid for the break we weren’t even at work for.

I wanted to like it. I really wanted it to resolve all of my issues with botw and allow me to forgive the unresolvable ones.
I put hours in and all I get is the feeling of putting 80 bucks in a single pull on slot machine that takes several days or weeks to show that I lost it all, but I watched a couple of cool video clips while it was spinning.
if it wasn’t clear, the cool video clips represent the parts of the game that I liked.

It was utterly inexcusable when it came out as in at the time of its release, as well as when it came out as in the year they released a game not up to modern standards. Ignoring that modern standards have been declining…
Anyway one of my friends gave me shit for saying that so I’ll try to find time to see what it’s like now. What blows my mind is ‘update’ or ‘patch’ in the same sentence as a bethesda title without ‘unofficial community’ and/or ‘mod’ but apparently they even patched out out of bounds shop inventories you can just take. I would have expected paid mods and an anniversary edition that is a new full priced release but not that. I hope they reduced the amount of loading too.

It was amazing yes. It had a few cutscenes that were excellent and anyone with any investment in the series would get pumped. Mechanics feel nearly perfect and not many games come close. And a number of other things, I’m sure you know them all.
But I will still never forgive Nintendo. They hate plot so much that continuity is nearly outright forbidden. I almost felt actual pain from the visual world building cues that were not only not expanded upon but many outright deleted. I want to play a game again and find new things I never noticed before, not find more things that were erased without any explanation or hint as to why. Don’t just leave me hanging with not only generic NPCs with low effort models forgetting me, but the guy that built my house after bringing him a literal entire forest too? It could have been a plot element or have a hint that it was time travel related and it would have been cool, but I cant help but feel like Nintendo is just building in a fuck you to the people that like analysing the lore or exploring the map looking for history clues.
Then the almost word for word duplicate cutscenes, the “oops all tutorial” trial chambers, being able to nearly effortlessly cheese everything with recall, the sheer volume of trials and koroks with largely disappointing returns on both, and I think even hestu forgets you now that I think about it, and the overall feel was just not quite there compared to botw.
Some things felt like they were made to accomodate people that hadn’t played BotW, but others seemed like they were made for people born before computers existed while ignoring that such a person couldn’t be expected to play a game more complicated than pong. Or trying to account for far too many incompatible edge cases and missing the mark on all of them. And inheriting the design mindset that led to the poor choices in the Oot and MM 3ds remakes.Anyway I felt betrayed after BotW got my hopes up. Nintendo made my childhood then shat on it like my dad turned maga. I’m bitter and angry about it.

I bitch about live stream games? When? And “good” was simply using the same word as you in an attempt to maintain some semblance of continuity in discussion which was apparently meaningless since you seem incapable of that, since the me in your head apparently gets bonus dialogue lines nobody else gets to see

The words before the list gave me the impression that the list was not meant to be just live service free games but good ones. If it’s meant to be just a list of big releases then sure. Intent and tone don’t always convey well over the internet.
