That’d really be great. I’d love making red bull cocktails without caffeine in them

Looks neat! I got a chuckle when the trailer said “rewrite history” and immediately showed you can decide to not split Tuvix

Save ya a click, lmao no. English is a Germanic language.
Weird to even suggest it
- Comment on 1 week ago:
That’s largely what the pre release reviewers said, too. It’s light on RPG elements but feels like Dishonored. They didn’t say it was bad, just unexpected and a different kind of game than the first.

- Comment on Who were the key figures at the ‘unite the kingdom’ rally in London? 1 week ago:
The Unite The Right rally in the US should have been a more dire warning of what’s to come than it really served as here.
England, don’t fuck this up, this is your warning sign. You need to squash your fascist elements ASAP or join the US on the path to a new nazi regime
- Comment on Which came first: the kidney bean or the kidney body part? 2 weeks ago:
To save y’all a click, the organ came first, sometime in the 14th century, as a mix of the words for womb and egg. It wasn’t until the 16th century that we see the first recorded use of kidney bean, so the name of the bean references the shape of the organ.

Yeah this is a concern as well. That’s the other thing keeping me from upgrading. The advantages of newer models are only slight compared to this phone which works perfectly fine. The longer I wait, the better the tech becomes. Eventually it’ll reach a point where upgrading makes sense, but it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna be this year or even next.
- Comment on best comment under a video about the new iphone 17 2 weeks ago:
I’m in this situation with my Note 20. I see no reason to upgrade just yet, though. Thought about a foldable, but the Samsung ones are too expensive and the Chinese ones look amazing but tricky to import and use in the US.

- Comment on Who are the "middle class" supposed to support in the class stuggle? 3 weeks ago:
The middle class is a fabrication. It’s an income bracket created by capitalism, not a true analysis of one’s association to the means of production and labor. It’s “real” in the sense that many people identify themselves to it, but it’s not real in a Marxist sense.
A vast majority of people in the middle class are the proletariat. Some of the people in the middle class are petite bourgeois.

On the whole it doesn’t sound like the worst idea and obviously you know your kid best.
But c’mon, you never hid stuff from your parents as a teenager?
- Comment on [deleted] 4 weeks ago:
What would you do if you were a 16 year old with their own apartment?
I think if you can rent an apartment for your kid, you can get a hotel room in which to bang your girlfriend.
- Comment on A real question about trans athletes and records 5 weeks ago:
The “issue” seems moot to me, personally. Between the facts that no one is transitioning in order get an upper hand in the sports world and that there are plenty of documented incidents of cis women athletes being falsely flagged as trans women due to their high testosterone levels… I just don’t think it really matters. It isn’t like there are record breaking trans women dominating the sports world. This “issue” mostly feels like an overt attack on trans people in general than genuine concern over the alleged purity of sport.
The people spearheading these attacks on trans people aren’t interested in some nebulous notion of sports integrity, they simply want to further denigrate and attack an already maligned minority. They are concern trolling on a national scale and that I find deplorable and transparent.
I might be biased here, as I really couldn’t care less about some Olympic notion of athletic purity, the idea itself feels somewhat eugenic adjacent, but I also think the impact of accepting trans women in sports is ultimately very minimal on the sport world, but huge for the progress of trans rights, something that I think is very important, especially in this day and age.
- Comment on About Star Trek Starfleet Academy blacklash 1 month ago:
OHHH wait I remember this conversation from Disco, lemme see if I can still do the spiel.
I think it’s good if it brings more fans to series and in a way I envy the idea of them wanting more Star Trek and finding out about TNG, DS9 and VOY.

- Comment on Why don't Steam or Discord offer the option to hide when we're typing? 2 months ago:
While I agree with you that it should be an option to turn it off, who is telling you that you need to send a full message if someone sees you were typing?
We’re the ones making the rules for this world full of technologies and we create the social rules for them daily with our own actions. Fuck that expectation, I’m sure other people can surmise what happened even if they noticed you were typing for just a second, they’re working with the same limited software.

I cannot fathom why you would want to date someone you don’t want as a friend unless you’re just horny about them and misdirecting that into romance.
- Comment on Chilled factory-builder shapez 2 gets a massive upgrade 3 months ago:
Here’s vouching for shapez 2 and their dev team clearly having a phenomenal handle on what makes a factory game fun. They’ve distilled it to its essence while keeping things casual and relaxed. There’s no resource limits or biters to worry about, just build the factory using their intuitive UI and blueprint system and have fun at your own pace.
- Comment on Can I replace honey with maple syrup? 3 months ago:
You could, or add in some sugar. My experience with this kind of substitution is mostly in baking where volumes and ratios are far more important. In this application, it’s a little more loosey goosey, so I’d say try a 1:1 swap and if it’s not sweet enough, use more next time or toss a lil sugar on it.
- Comment on Can I replace honey with maple syrup? 3 months ago:
Short answer, yes. Long answer, honey contains less liquid than maple syrup while being sweeter. This matters far more when baking than anything else so you should be fine in coating the granola with maple syrup instead of honey. That said, since it’s more liquid than honey, you may have to add something to stabilize it like a pinch of starch, though I’m not sure that’s truly necessary in this application.

Rowling still gets paid for the IP and likely gets some sort of kickback on its success.
I understand the appeal of a children’s fantasy set in a wizard world, but until it’s financially detached from Rowling, it’ll continue to fund her hatred.
