In this case, at least the lazy slop would be free. We already get lazy slop that is dull and uninteresting from game studios that expect us to pay for it.

Shit like this was fun when people had to actually do shit to make it happen. When people learned skills and did the impossible for the sake of a joke they thought of.
When it’s just some idle, lazy slop, it’s dull and uninteresting. It’s not a human accomplishment for humor, its just some idiot jacking off into the plagiarism box.

I mean, game modding where you put x game’s y asset in z game is 99 percent plagerism and copyright infringement to begin with, regardless of how you do it. Unless you make something wholly original, you’re technically illegal, and even then, in the USA, there’s the DMCA, where breaking, bypassing, or reverse engineering any encryption is itself illegal.
