- Comment on Do animals think we're cute? 13 hours ago:
For wild animals, probably not. For domestic animals, like a dog for example, we know they have been bred to be loyal to humans. What is interesting is that some dogs prefer certain physical features and get defensive about others. My dog for instance prefers women, and in particular, brunette women, as that is what my fiancé is. But my dog freaks out when she sees a man with a beard. I don’t think my dog views brunette women as cute and men with beards as not cute, but something makes her find one type safe and attractive and another type dangerous and repulsive. What’s interesting is when I grow my beard out (about an inch or two before it’s too itchy and I shave it) she loves it and can’t stop licking my face.

Seriously, have been a lot less motivated at work, but have been finding a lot of excitement in gardening, planning for an upcoming international trip, researching and writing/journaling about a topic I enjoy.

I would imagine that with the Elon hate right more that if these were legitimate they would be front page news
- Comment on How exactly are people lighting Teslas on fire? 5 days ago:
As far as I can find there have been 0 reports of teslas catching fire AND THEN locking the driver inside. There are a few instances of teslas catching fire that have been non arson related, but no deaths. There have also been news reports of people getting locked inside their teslas, but they also made no attempt to use the manual release.

Did she write a book? My parents had it and explained that it was similar to what happened to my uncle. It had her looking all sad on the cover if I remember but had to be nearly 30 years ago at this point
- Comment on What are some slow acting poisons? 6 days ago:
Whole maybe not “poisons” by definition I have a couple scary stories of people working in damp, moldy office and basement environments and after a couple years getting rare autoimmune and neurological disorders that killed them. One being my uncle, my family tried to get his workplace to test where he worked because the doctors said that’s most likely where he contracted it, but they refused. We weren’t looking for money, just trying to save the next guy. I was fairly young when this happened so I don’t remember all the details.

Second this, ironically, giving CBP a focus on human trafficking, drugs, and weapons has made it less focused on the little inane things. Assuming you aren’t a criminal in your country, acting weird, don’t have a weird travel pattern in the US, and haven’t attended the funeral of any terrorists recently, you’ll be all good.
- Comment on Why are Maries Sues hated while Gary Stus are loved? 1 week ago:
You picked Batman as an example? The guy whose parents died, then he uses the vast wealth to learn and buy gadgets no one else can afford to fight crime. He constantly gets beaten right off the bat (pardon the pun) and his whole arc is to use his intellect to learn from his mistakes to do better after he fails and people get hurt. He is liked because in a world where everyone has some weird super power he is just a guy dedicated to making sure children don’t have their parents killed, too. He has a moral compass and a vision and we constantly see him fall down and get back up. A lot of the issues people had with Superman (an actual Gary Stu) were rectified with Batman. Debates on his vigilantism have made him both a loved and hated character. The question is constantly asked if he might be doing more harm than good. He has doubts and questions himself, he makes mistakes, he isn’t universally loved, he is no where near a Gary or Mary Sue.

one crazy guy says porn is bad logic dictates crazy is wrong so what he says is just the opposite of truth determine porn is good from this god-tier logic
You are living proof that his theory that porn rots your brain is true.

When I worked in a restaurant we were supposed to charge for stuff like that, but I knew it would tick people off and take away from my tip so I never did. I don’t care if some multi-millionaire loses a couple fractions of a penny so I can gain several dollars in tips.

Women are shitty communicators. I tell my wife this all the time. Just because you are talking doesn’t mean you are communicating. Men created TCP, women created UDP network protocols.
Communication requires two parties to understand and come to a consensus, most women are making announcements, not communicating.
Also, women tend to think they are more emotionally mature than men, but are generally significantly stunted in their emotional development. Flip the script, how do you think his wife would have reacted if he called her fat and then talked about a 5k then cried and threw a fit when she signed up? Most men would have been happy and excited, but most men wouldn’t have also gotten past calling their wife fat without a divorce.

Mainly because you can shove “woke” shit down peoples and they won’t care as long as they get to play a manly man or stacked chick and the story and characters are well developed. It’s just when the game is really bad that people care about it and then the studios can blame the poor performance on the alt-right as a cop out for their shitty game. I.e. Star Wars outlaws and Concorde

I worked retail at a major store ~45k sqft and we had people come in at 2-3am and work until 10-11am “stocking shelves”. Thing is, part of our closing duties when it wasn’t busy was to restock the shelves. So most of the time the people stocking just ducked around for 8 hours. They were always super chill but had terrible weed.

I like to shit on Elon as much as the next person, but as someone who works in aerospace mfg, if he understands 3% of SpaceX’s manufacturing and supply chain he is already in the top 99.9999999%. What they have accomplished is absolutely unfathomable and why we have to make exceptions when hiring experienced SpaceX people into our company to pay 2-3x standard pay for them. They really really know their shit and are making everyone in the industry better by leaving SpaceX.

- Comment on Are thongs less prone to whale tailing than strings? 5 months ago:
MeUndies does a great men’s thong. For strings I had to just use Amazon and get whatever highest rated store from China is making them that month. Also dont be afraid to get womens panties for thongs and strings, they normally use better and softer materials and it’s way cheaper. Just check reviews and normally there are some reviews from guys.

I live somewhere where if you don’t use a room for 15 minutes the spiders immediately take over. I’ve genocided generations of spiders but they keep coming back. I’ve printed out propaganda posters for the other bugs warning them about the dangers of spiders and how they run the banking system.
