I ain’t got nothing against people of any colour, creed or language in general, but Clarence fucking Thomas is THE motherfucking exception. I wouldn’t piss on his smouldering corpse if it tried to give me a 50, ya hear me?
Fuck that guy with a bucket load of caltrops man. Fuck you too, just in case.

Are you trying to argue Clarence Thomas isn’t a House Nigga? Good look with that shit my man, good luck. Call me and tell me how it went.
Actually don’t call me ever again.

You’re what we’d call mentally ill. You might want to try to do some mthibg about that before you hurt someone. Or you know, be the next evening entertainment for your dictator. The best thing he knows is when they scrape people like you off the pavement riddled with bullets.
Go on, be all can be. Maybe even take an Sd agent or two with ya to …well yeah .

I can’t stand a single fucking thing that they do, I’m not American either so if Netanyahu shows ugly fucking face here he’d arrested and you’re still acting superior over there. You caught a case of the ‘ubermensh’ from Mr face fuck Itamar Ben-Gvir or something? Not unheard of.
Anyway, good luck with that industrial military complex ya’ll got going on over there. Fucking hypocrite.

Just came home from watching it. I’ve read it quite a few times, both out loud to students and by myself, so I didn’t go in completely blind so to speak.
Still, it managed to confuse me a few times, especially the conversations, and at some points, a little who’s who. (Might just have been me, though. See below).
Still, overall, it was a pleasure to watch. Damon gives a good performance. It’s not the best he’s ever done, in my opinion, but he’s good enough to carry a large part of the movie by himself. There are other standouts from his crew as well, and Pattinson is his usual brooding self, which fits right in here.
It’s quite hard to write about further details without spoiling stuff, but one thing I can say is that the scenery is veet well done. If you go in expecting Greek summer weather, you’re in for quite the surprise. The backdrops were gorgeous as well. The CGI is also quite well made, imo.
Anyway, to be completely honest here, I have issues with my spine and right leg (the ischias nerve) so I’m pretty heavily medicated It might have put a positive tint on the whole thing, I don’t know.
(tl;dr) Still, in my opinion, it’s very much worth watching, and if you can afford it, it’s worth watching it in a movie theatre because of the effects and sound.

When I was young I lived in a commune of sorts, with artists and guppies and what not. Every few weeks a couple of us did just that, because why wouldn’t we?
Also later when I worked in a group gole for elderly autistic people that experience came in handy as I was used to the smell. Usually I ended up doing the shittiest (harhar) cleaning duties and it never really bothered me even though we were supposed to rotate. One of the nurses with over a decade of experience refused to even enter a room while I was emptying the stomach contents of one particularly tricky patient (he essentially had plugs straight into his stomach for both in and output, generated some interesting smells for sure).
Sure, I got paid for the latter half, but I still did that shit daily. Later when I became a father there was absolutely nothing that could faze me anymore. Sort of glad I got to experience all that, weirdly enough.

Even if it wasn’t for all the other instances, there were quite a few muslim combat interpreters that fought with the US troops in Afghanistan etc. only to be left behind and they sure as fuck got killed.
…them and their families.

There are some of us with no inner vision who do enjoy reading too though, you know?
Not all of us have the ability to see what we read, i.e., aphantasia.
I love to read though. All day long if I can. Also in the top 0.1% when it comes to reading speed. Guess why? Nothing wrong with my comprehension either.

Speaking of Richochet and love reminds me of a guy I halfway knew in my youth. He had the bright idea to jerk off a quick one in the middle of a LAN party (lI know, right?). After he inevitably got caught (despite being somewhat secluded) he alt tabbed from whatever grainy porn clip he had up straight into Ricochet just as he… well ya know.
He never came to another LAN party again, but 20+ years later he’s still known as the guy who jerked off to Richochet.

I mean, sure, I had a few bad teachers myself at certain ages, but there were good ones too.
Making it up to be some kind of power-trip seems wrong to me, although there certainly are a few of those.
I will say though, that teaching the same curriculum year in year out grinds down almost anyone.
I felt lucky that each student was truly different since their various issues needed such radically different approaches, but that was spec. ed., not normal school.
