I can see how the blue no matter who crowd justifies reallocating peoples votes, but I dont see how it is acceptable to do in a so called democracy.

There’s that holier than though lib hubris that wins the hearts and minds of Americans. Just ask Hillary. Keep fighting the fight once every four years, I guess.

Oh damn nobody has ever condescended to me quite like that before. You must be a political genius and you changed my mind by being a needles prick on the internet. If you’re sure the election is won then copmala doesn’t need my vote after all and you can calm down.

I get how it is easy to justify and I understand people are so obsessed with beating trump that they will cast aside all other doubts but the truth is that a vote for a Biden Harris ticket is not a vote for a Harris/??? Ticket. The threat of fascism is also not going to stop with trump. The moves made here will be treated like am exception but will become the norm.
Regardless of how I personally voted, I see this move as another example that the illusion of American democracy has been dead a long time. Maybe even since Bush v Gore. Primaries suffered a death blow in 2016 and finally kicked the bucket in 2024.
- Comment on How Kamala Harris Took Command of the Democratic Party in 48 Hours 3 months ago:
Find a Democratic solution maybe? Run an actual primary with debates in the first place? An open convention? Allow challengers on the ballet consistently? Not work behind the scenes to push Biden on everyone in 2020 and beyond.
If you dont understand why someone is disillusioned with the “choices” in this upcoming election you have bigger problems than all that impotent rage on display in your reply.
Tired of shills and sycophants crying about optics and putting these power hungry parties above values and real issues. Average Americans have to choose between paying rent and eating. Cant afford a doctor. Have to work 3 jobs constantly worrying about the future of the planet.
If dems want to win they have to win on issues. Blue no matter who may be popular with you, but it doesn’t resonate with the general public, leftists, people who cant make ends meet. Dont let your fear let you lose sight of the issues.

I know everyone is rushing show unity and thats understandable but I’m having a reasonable " but I didnt vote for you" moment.
- Comment on How Kamala Harris Took Command of the Democratic Party in 48 Hours 3 months ago:
Nothing says fair, open, and transparent democracy like party insiders choosing the next candidate in a well organized cascade lasting 48 hours…
- Comment on Planning to propose in a few months, what should I look for in a good value engagement ring? 3 months ago:
My wife loves moissanite, we went with etsy and even got her wedding band custom designed in CAD to fit your engagement ring. Manhattan box was the store we used for the band and a UK spot called shinyjungle for engagement ring where she liked a lab grown morganite. She gets a lot of compliments on them. Most cant tell the difference between them and traditional blood diamonds. Cubic zirconia or epoxy based stones are what you dont want.

- Comment on Do you ever worry that you're secretly a psychopath that unknowingly manipulates people around you? 7 months ago:
Yeah I absolutely relate to this, but challenging people yo be objective and showing them a new perception that is outside of the norm is not gaslighting. Asking someone to question their behavior is not gaslighting. Especially when you are here applying the same reasoning to yourself.
Gaslighting is intentionally making somebody question their perceivable reality with the intent to manipulate for your own gain. I don’t think this applies to philosophical questions of morality unless you are contradicting and forcing your beliefs on them through some type of moral absolutism. I also don’t think it applies if you convince someone the closed down shop was a hot dog stand and it was actually a Burger stand so long as you were honestly mistaken. If you keep them in the dark intentionally after learning the truth that would probably be though.
It is possible also that your definition of truth is too broad and you need to interject some self doubt, since we’ve all been wrong before, and maybe in that invitation to discuss both possibilities your approach will be refined.
In line with what others here are saying, I have the same thoughts as you and i got diagnosed with ADHD late, the psychiatrist mentioned I fit multiple criteria for ASD but that ADHD correctly captures most symptoms so we go with that. If possible taking assessments and talking to a profrssional should help cut down on these instances where you assume the worst of yourself.
