  1. I see no elaboration on them forcing it anywhere in the picture.
  2. Even if they did, overriding my choice of pressing the ‘shutdown’ by force is very shitty regardless.

Because windows ever informed me of anything like that instead of using dark patterns to force things on me without any elaboration. And windows is full of stuff like this whilist providing the users much much less control than linux. I’ve been conditioned to expect no settings for things I want on windows and the settings that are actually there to be overwriten by windows at any time without again, informing me in any way or caring about my consent. Not to mention that the settings UX is a big mess on windows and are a PITA to use.

What? That was the reason? I’m glad I’m off this shitOS. Bruh

Years back when I used windows the ‘shutdown’ and ‘shutdown and update’ acted the fucking same most of the time. Shit was driving me up the fucking wall.

Seems so. It was abandoned for a really long time so either they remembered to remove it or it got automatically purged assuming the instance has something like that.

I was asking specifically about other “platforms” besides piefed because I’m curious how supported are emoji reactions across the fediverse. I had around a year of break form the fediverse so I’m a bit ootl on recent developments.

Do they federate with any other platforms?

I’ve discovered this project this month but haven’t played it yet nor am I an RTS player. What do they do differently?

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨What games have you sunk the most time into?⁩ ⁨⁨1⁩ ⁨year⁩ ago⁩:

I’ve played “Unturned” a lot few years back. I have 2100+ hours in it. Realistically it’d be around 2000 or a little bit under.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨somebody has to do it!⁩ ⁨⁨1⁩ ⁨year⁩ ago⁩:

You should have an option to crosspost it somewhere on the post. Or you could simply copy the direct image link and make a new post using that. Lemmy recognises crossposts by checking if the link is the same. For example if 2 unrelated users make 2 different posts with the same article it will count as a crosspost.
