  I noticed Disney hasn’t even tried to do Hansel and Gretel yet.

  That one can’t be softened unless it’s completely rewritten to change the entire story.

    For starters, in Cinderella, the evil sisters cut off their toes and heels to make the shoe fit, but the prince is so horny he doesn’t even notice it until two pigeons tell him that there’s blood in the shoe.
