    For a lightweight organisation which has foregone layers of management waste out of financial necessity, it funds an awful lot of development.

      If it starts to expand significantly in order to accelerate their efforts then that seed money will burn out increasingly fast. Unless they can establish significant ongoing income streams of some sort then they might burn out.
