  Seriously though, you mean U.S. State?

  Before the ICE problems, I’d have said Minnesota was probably best, but I suspect it’s probably still the best state now after having a chance to return to some degree of normalcy. Kind folk.

  Worst: Mississippi is the state that most consistently scores very low on just about every axis you’d want to measure a state by. It has a reputation for being a terrible place to live.

    as a Minnesotan, there’s arguments for other states being better; though I do have to say Minnesota definitely is up there.

  Best: Norway. Or Denmark (only for the ones who absolutely cannot stand the cold even though it’s so good for your health). Why? Honest and satisfied people live there.

  In Australia, I would definitely say Victoria is the best state. I’m from Melbourne though, so I’m a bit biased. Tasmania is also really neat as well. I haven’t visited any of the others, but realistically it’s hard to find the “worst” state in Australia, since they are mostly just big coastal cities with a lot of desert inland. The only exception is the Australian Capital Territory, which is just Canberra and the surrounding area, so unless you really like Canberra there is not much to do (none of the national parks, sightseeing, etc. that Australia is known for)
