I think if I personally explained to him why it is a bad idea, he wouldn’t do it. First I was going to write, but I know he doesn’t read! Then I thought I’d write my representatives, but as an Ohioan, I know my representative has no rizz nor pull. So I thought, I know, I will go on Fox News! But then I remembered that as an Ohioan, I have no rizz, and they would just cast me as the dunce-of-the-hour like Dennis Kucinich.
Anyway if any of you know him or know how to reach him, here is the distilled argument: “You could just sell CENTCOM, but NOT IF IT 'SPLODES.”
Please let me know, I have a lot of friends who are Navy / Space Force / Army.

You’re operating under the fallacy that he uses logic and reason to determine his actions.
Even if you were able through some mechanism able to convince him, you’d have to reinforce this constantly and hope that someone with a different agenda didn’t get to him between your reinforcements with something that panders to his ego and also happens to sacrifice CENTCOM.
Because in his mind, nothing of importance is being sacrificed because it isn’t him.

You could say that about me, too.
