    My parents did this to me and when they couldn’t convince me I was wrong started trying to shame me for not liking what they like.

      My wife did this with olive pesto. I’ve had very vocal disdain for olives our entire marriage, and she’s known me since we were kids. She couldn’t believe I didn’t like the past smothered in olive paste.
