I hope this dosen’t offend anyone, but I have the suspiction those Star Trek Auction are also for money laundry, I mean, why someone gonna buy props of a cancelled series or some random custom used in one episode for example?

Well stuff from TOS and TNG era productions is pretty sought after by collectors.
But if you check the site, its actually a bunch of big screen TVs that have gotten the most interest, with office furniture and weird looking rocks close behind.

Mostly set dressing, stuff that you could find in stores with some light modifications like labels.
And, y’know, a whole-ass turbolift for $10k.
