  I use Shia Lebouf to counter this. I tell myself that if the task is inevitable, then I might as well do it and get it over with. But that’s after several instances of the post first of course.

      That implies you were going to cancel it anyway, so good that you did it earlier instead of waiting. Saves you and the other party you have an appointment with the hassle of a last minute cancellation.
