That’s a surprisingly deep list.

Interesting that they didn’t include Ninja Gaiden 4 in an otherwise incredibly exhaustive list, but apart from that I think this is as close to “every notable 2025 release, summarised and collected” as you’re going to get.

No Avowed or Outer Worlds 2 either, which are high on my personal list. And before someone wants to tell me they were divisive, they both reviewed far better than the likes of To a T.

I forgot about those because I never played them myself and honestly this year has been awash with so many good releases that they kind of slipped my mind. But you’re absolutely right!

Didn’t bother going further as soon as I saw “Interactive list” 😮💨

I mean it’s just filters so you can get a more relevant list for yourself. The PC-only filter was useful for me.

It saddens me that Sektori came out too late to be on these lists, because they are effective marketing for indies and it’s one of the finest games ever made. It works flawlessly, is Linux friendly and is polished to a shine. It’s very opinionated design, but the opinions are in my opinion all correct and the overall game is a wonderful sequel to Geometry Wars. The only thing it’s missing right now is 2-player (at least) coop.

Really nice list and well laid out too. Currently downloading the demo for Revenge of the Savage Planet from it :)

No Factorio: Space Age on the list? The factory must grow…

NPR reviews games now?

Their reviews aren’t frequent. This is more of a “we ask around the org for what everyone liked this year.” It’s a consistently good list year after year.
