See when they do stuff like this why can’t they just have a selector like they do with quake to select the old version
Yakuza 0 is being delisted on all platforms on December 8 (being replaced by Y0:DC), Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2 also being delisted from Microsoft PC Store

Force a bunch of people to buy it now and never play it, adding to their collection of unplayed games. And to pocket money of past games again.

Sega being Sega...they haven't really learned much, haven't they? Makes me kind of wish sometimes that they're truly knocked out of the video game industry.
Why are they delisting Kiwami 1 and 2? They're remakes of the Y1 and Y2. I didn't know that one.

Not at this time. They’re delisting the Windows 10 versions. bsky.app/profile/…/3m6kg5jpixn2i

The gog version remains available.
It’s worth noting that Y0 was a beloved entry that frequently dipped below the $10 mark. The remaster adds a few minutes worth of (according to most people) unnecessary cutscenes, and charges full price for it. For many, the standard edition is not only cheaper, but also better.

As usual, one more cynically inclined might add.

I’ve gotten pretty much the entire Yakuza series through Humble Monthly. I’ve tried getting into it starting with Y0… Played a couple of hours… Then stopped…
I dunno… It just doesn’t really seem to grow on me.
