Yeah I know, I did the same thing when you first replied to me too.
- Comment on Sometimes devs intentionally punish players for struggling with the game 2 weeks ago:
Yes you are talking about game design.
You just said developers check if the player cheats or makes something "strange" then react to it. By game design, they don't want you cheating in their game.
So you either deal with it or don't.
- Comment on Sometimes devs intentionally punish players for struggling with the game 2 weeks ago:
I know there's very few, be it rare, games where developers seemingly hate those who play it.
But you're not understanding that maybe that there are some games that aren't for you. It sometimes is a sucky feeling, when games seemingly look like you'd have a blast playing them, until you try them and feel the opposite. I wouldn't really say any of the struggles I've had in games I played in this example, that I felt like the developers were intentionally punishing me. More like my expectations, standards and idea of fun collides with what that game already established in its own values.
Like I hate games where anything kills you in one hit, that is bullshit, give me a health bar or multiple chances of being hit. I prefer more games that have at least healthbars.
- Comment on Is there a real, actually working way to earn money online without having a job? 2 weeks ago:
I advise against Amazon Machine Turk.
It's basically a digital sweatshop. Doing all of these menial, logically mundane and borderline crazy tasks. Just to earn a literal nickel.
- Comment on What unique thing bothers you about politics in general? 2 weeks ago:
There's too much of that going on.
It isn't because we don't care about Taiwan, Ukraine, Gaza, Palestine, Hong Kong .etc when we say we can't do much for them. It is because we physically can't, because we're not in positions of power that would help make that change. All we are, are just voices and there is only so much voices could do and those voices ended up getting silenced because of people in positions of power.

- Comment on First Impressions: Heroes of Might and Magic: The Olden Era is an excellent franchise revival, with an unfortunate art style that belies its quality. 2 weeks ago:
That art style makes it look like a very uninspired, cookie-cutout of a generic RPG you'd find on mobile.
- Comment on What is the moral jurisdiction behind not wishing who're rich and in executive positions to die? 2 weeks ago:
I suspect you are gaslighting or something here.
But this is pretty dumb logic you're presenting. Okay then, by your logic, Hitler didn't kill the jews during WW2. He just simply said he wanted them not to be in his country or anything. But he didn't kill them, he just sent them away and had other people do the killing for him.
You know better.

I guess the sales are what you make of it. I mean, it's easy for me to say that the sales suck because I and probably others, have been spoiled filthily with great sales of the past. Like 2010 - 2018 was the greatest time for video game sales with staggering discounts that have given the Steam Sale its reputation.
Nowadays you have to really spread yourself out. IsThereAnyDeal shows me that GameBillet appears to have better sales than Steam's in comparison.
- Comment on Steam winter sale is now live 2 weeks ago:
They aren't.
You'll maybe see a handful of games convince you that the prices are low because a select few of them have deep discounts. But I can't tell you how many times I've seen games retain their price point regardless of what event it is.

Mario uses Chrome and that's why Browser hates him.
- Comment on What is the moral jurisdiction behind not wishing who're rich and in executive positions to die? 2 weeks ago:
People make this more complicated than is needed. We already know who these people are. We already know what kind of wealth they're wielding. Why do we pretend as if we don't and we need to re-assess this?

Stardew Valley and Terraria are the only games I know of where their developers are keeping them alive.

Yeah but, how likely is it that they'll ever see such a fate?
Next to zero. This is all just fantasizing.

Not if you're used to the idea of having so many abandoned instances to where people could start reporting them as being abandoned.
- Comment on Steam winter sale is now live 2 weeks ago:
I think the only game I can see myself really grabbing is Nioh. It's $5, between its file size and what type of game it is, I'm not sure.
I've spent a good few minutes checking over the 'Under $5' section, which I see some impulses but I've been too spoiled from sales of years past where I only just shake my head at seeing some games go for prices I know in my mind just isn't worth it. I'm having thoughts like "didn't I buy you at $2.49 at one point?" over a game that's now like the full 5.
There is of course games I would want but I am financially sensitive and do abide by my own set budgets for things. So I know I'm not going to be completely happy if I go for games that'll eat at said budget in like one or two purchases. I like the idea of bundles and that's how I used to have bought games in the past. I'm remembering the glorious bundles I'd build up and come out spending $40 for like 12 games. Those were great times.

That game is not going to reach 50% for another 2 - 3 years, I'm afraid.
At worst, it may be one of those games where it could be 10 years old and still be 35% off.

I used the word 'deliberately'. Oh! You don't know the word 'deliberately'! Therefore your reply is irrelevant! And you say I'm being petty! Look at you, telling me to read and write when you can't even do it either! Hypocrite!

- Comment on Trying to find a messenger bag at Amazon 2 weeks ago:
This is what people aren't talking about enough. It may make people feel all good inside to not have Amazon and everything - until they are commuting for long periods, having to spend more than they budgeted for and shipping to not be available. Also, who loves it when you have to store-hop multiple places and still not find what you need?
It's like I can't rely on Walmart or even Best Buy to have what I'm looking for. They have their limits. I can't rely on small businesses either because they probably won't have whatever it is I need.
So, sorry, I'm going to keep shopping Amazon as sparingly as possible. Do I hear anyone who is Anti-Amazon prop up any stores for reasonable commute and pricing and available shipping for people and communities? No? Then shut up about your lectures that people don't need Amazon and how they're sheeple for continuing to buy from it. It is all about self-pride and virtue signaling.

Customer service has been relegated to AI chat prompts, HUBs and automated servicing that don't cover all of the problems you may have.
It's just extra steps of extra steps.
- Comment on Why do you hate AI? 3 weeks ago:
I don't entirely hate AI.
I like AI for when I want to personally use it for art ideas because I'm not an artist and honestly, paying someone to draw for you can be expensive as it is a luxury. I just don't run anything like a DA account to show it off.
I don't like AI when it has been used to lazily write scripts for movies/shows, to draft essays and be used as a shortcut for someone's work.
I like AI when it can be used as a companion tool.
I don't like AI when it tries being a therapist for serious mental issues.
I don't like AI when it is used as a poor excuse of troubleshooting.
I don't like AI for the damage it is causing to the market of PC memory.
I don't like AI being shoved down my throat and for the companies you least expect it to use it, suddenly start using it.
So with a score of 2-5, if AI was just erased right now, I wouldn't really miss it. But I don't entirely hate it. It is a completely misused and abused kind of tool that's shoved into everyone's lives and marketed as a catch-all solution to nearly all problems, when there is a mountain of evidence and recorded studies saying otherwise.

- Comment on Trying to find a messenger bag at Amazon 3 weeks ago:
I just assume they're all scammers, the real challenge is finding one outside of that scope.
Because I've bought products when I've faced similar situations like this. Bought it, then that merchant mysteriously disappeared, never to come up again.

None of it.

That isn't my point. I don't even like Mortal Kombat.
EVO events should be reserved for games that are demanding of skill and has mechanical depth. Mortal Kombat is neither, despite the pros of that game trying to say otherwise.
