  You know what’s weird? I’ve heard it so many times: getting a PhD is about putting in the work and less about being intelligent.

  From my perspective, if we want a smarter society, we need a society willing to do the work of actually being smart and informed. But that kinda has to start with us, who are loathe to read a god damn book, let alone substantively be informed. So, yeah, makes perfect sense that it’d be easier to just be unethical than put in the work.

  Apart from eugenics being fucked up and monstrous, IQ is an antiquated measure of only one very specific kind of intelligence so your premise is inherently flawed.

  Full of people that cheat on IQ tests.

  Being smart doesn’t make one good at things. IQ tests don’t actually measure smart. It was developed as a test for children, to catch those needing extra help.

  It wouldn’t exist. The number of people over 130IQ that pro-create (and more specifically how many children they have) simply isn’t high enough. That’s only 2% of the population to start with, and you’d have to find viable pairs between people who often hate each other.

  The entire economy would collapse, you’d be lucky to end up with even 100 million people globally at the end of 3 generations without some sort of forced breeding program.

  We would lose a lot of art and creativity, customer service at every company would be empty, everyone would believe they’re too smart to work basic service jobs so infrastructure would collapse. Lots of high IQers have pretty low motivation, especially for things outside their specific interests, so I think we would have very fast cars and really good recreational drugs. There are some who believe that the increase in autism comes from similarly minded people procreating, so that could be an issue.
