I don’t know if a result of shrinkflation or they’ve always been like this, but I was more than half disappointed
surly creating a machine to manufacture that is significantly more work than to just make it normally

surly
don’t call me surly. creating the machine was a joy.
I doubt it - these will have the chocolate dropped over them rather than being dipped in. They’ll just run on a conveyor.
The cookie without chocolate is a classic, the variant with chocolate is only a 3 or 4 years old and likely always has been like this. So not shrinkflation or enshittification, just the way this product has always been.
Imo buy it without chocolate and eat it together with coffee or tea for the best result.
Indeed the box says new, I took this shot in July 2022. I didn’t know Lemmy then.
Anyway I wonder if this has changed now… I should have wrote to them. One side, the layer way too thin, and it’s not really dark chocolate. It could have been a great thing
You could still send an email or fill in their contact form. It’s quickly done and the worst that could happen, is nothing.
How can you even manage to automate making this?
Conveyor belt and a chocolate waterfall.
I’d assume they were dipped and half coated, but they are only quarter coated.

That’s fucking devious. Every feature of that looks designed to be deceptive.
