Remember that great HoloLens demo?
I liked playing in VR from time to time. Why remove it? I don’t get that. I can understand not including new features for it, but why remove it from the game?

Isn’t there a major graphics update coming soon? Maybe they didn’t feel like it was worth testing and maintaining VR compatibility with all the changes.
Headline from the future:
MS announces Minecraft VR, will cost less than $5/month when you buy a full five year subscription
Hahaha VR people in shambles.
Good. Not celebrating the loss of vr in particular (although i don’t see how it good for Minecraft), but the devs have used parity as an excuse to do nothing for way too long and we need a single version of Minecraft. One that doesn’t suck, btw, so no bedrock.
Never going to happen, especially since most MC players aren’t on PC, and of those that are, more play Bedrock than Java, and only one of those two has an in-game marketplace.
To make things worse, Fabric is a thing now, and it’s splitting modders up from the unifying Forge origin.
Minecraft has always been a freaking mess, though. They need a Minecraft 2 with better mod support and physics.
I mean, Fabric has been a thing for many years, and from playing both Fabric and Forge, I don’t really think its presence does any harm, at least not at this point. The biggest disruption in more recent times is NeoForge, a lot of mod packs seem to be transisitioning to it with 1.21.

A shame but Vivecraft was always the better VR Minecraft experience.
