not unless you make them yourself, but i wouldn’t recommend trying to make multi-use smoke grenades

Noted. I will not.

I like smoking too.
I don’t anymore, but I still like it.
I’m become the inverse Mitch Hedberg.

i like how the image is a smoke grenade and the first line says smoke grenade, but the actual story describes a flashbang
rockstarmode@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
I’m pretty sure flashbangs are less about the flash, and more about the bang.

the post seems to be talking about a precise grenade throw in a game. the only game i know that has such a thing is counter strike, so assuming that’s what it is.
in CS, the player (for some reason) only gets deafened if they’re looking at the grenade, meaning they also get blinded. plus, the blinding effect is way more important than the deafening effect, since a person would still be able to shoot someone else if they’re just deafened.

why would it be shiny

Except in real life, smoke grenades are actually pretty slow so it’d be more like a pffffff

You also dont throw them at your enemies. Replacing “smoke” with “flash” works wqy better
