It’s getting to the point that if an internet comment isn’t on-point, up to date, original, and coming off sounding exasperated and a little unhinged, you’d do best to assume it’s a bot.
At this point I just assume everyone is a bot, I might comment now and then because it’s fun and I’m doing something… But yeah I’m not going to get upset or believe you without looking shit up
If it ain’t teetering on the edge of being censored, it ain’t real.
I always kind of judged comment sections quality by their ability to stay on topic. YouTube has been the absolute worst at this for at least the past 15 years. Test it yourself, go unto any YouTube video check the comments. By the second, sometimes even first reply to the top comment it turn into incoherent nonesense. This is not a new phenomenon, this has always been the case.

Yeah, Neil saying that Elon is not a god genius pushing the boundaries of space, but instead finally getting commercial viability for stuff NASA did decades ago means he’s a target.
