I have definitely been proven wrong by Star Trek things that look terrible at the outset, but…this looks terrible. I mean I guess we’re getting a Deltan, so that’s fun? And a chameloid is a bit of a deep cut? But jesus, I could not want to see this less. I hope I’ll be proven wrong!
why oh why does every character has an “archetype”?
Why do they have basic attributes of fictional characters? Tough to say…

“Rogues and Scoundrels” really doesn’t feel like it’s a good fit for Trek IP.
Maybe I’ll be proven wrong.

There’s room for it, under the right conditions, but… this feels completely wrong in almost every direction. Section 31, as a collective group, should not feel like a bad rip off of Guardians of the Galaxy. Absolutely the wrong tone.
I will give it a fair shot, however, since it won’t cost me anything but my time. :P

Aside from the obvious space angle, it seems more like a “Suicide Squad” vibe to me, which makes a little more sense, I think.
Their marketing tone is not what I expected at all, but I’m still interested in what the heck this thing will be.
I just want a sense of what the actual story is.

You probably won’t.
