Yeah, I hated myself for that. Still do. It kinda stopped my interest in ancient coin collecting altogether because now I feel like an unworthy loser who shouldn’t be near any such artificats in the first place.
If I was my own boss I’d have fired me.

Yeah…I don’t normally do fossil prep so when they gave me a shot while visiting Fossil Butte I chose to only use the gentler sandblaster thing. Ain’t no way I’m going to be responsible for fucking up a vertebrate fossil.
