Hasn’t Disney had Poc characters since the 90s, hence predating the term woke by several decades?
Well, Disney has had POC since at least 1946, but we don’t talk about that one.
… I want to talk about that one. I don’t know Disney history, wtf did they do in 1946? I’m assuming something super racist

That Dumbo has a crow named “Jim” in a group of three behaving remarkably like minstrel show characters is also… unpleasant.
The term woke is at least around 100 years old.
It was specifically a reminder to stay “woke” (awake) of the threat of lunching.
Yes words come from places. Etymology is a thing. But ask anyone in the mainstream 1950s or 1990s, they will have no idea what “woke” means, in the cultural context of that time and place.
