He occasionally mentions it, but really heās been smoking for 50 years at this point so itād be very hard and take a big effort on his part. When he had a heart attack a couple of years ago and had a stent put in, he was on hospital 8 days. Then wouldāve been a golden opportunity to give up but he didnāt. I gave up years ago after smoking for 20 years, so I know it takes a particular mindset and dedication to achieve. Iāve started to really doubt that the will is there

Is he at least wearing a mask or doing anything to cover his face while heās in the living room?! Or at the very least waiting until everyone has left the room?!

Heās wearing a mask but still opening and closing the door of his room where he has been quarantining and wandering through far too regularly for my liking. The kids and I started quickly putting on masks when he walks through the living room, so he started giving a little warning before he opened the door. But to my mind itās not good enough.
