Had a team member return to work today after a lengthy holiday. Itâs been so peaceful without him. Hopefully he has another job lined up and can fudge off into the sunset.

This is how my team probably feel about me not working ahaha

Does your team actively avoid interacting with you AND only communicates through email and teams messages?
If not, youâre safe.
I think in the two weeks leading up to his holiday, I was the only person who spoke with him.

I have been burned many times from not having stuff clearly in writing. While I donât personally have a problem with communicating face-to-face, I absolutely understand why someone would.

Hey look, all my âofficialâ comms are in writing of some form. I was talking about regular chats and such. No one wants to talk him cause heâs just rude and irritating.

is this a bad thing? Iâve got a college who ignores us IRL and over teams.
Iâd take a longer who at least replies on teams to the rude bastard Iâve got in my office.

Itâs not a bad thing overall, but it does depend on the reasons. This bloke is just hard work and irritates kind of everyone. Harder to irritate in writing.
