Yep I wonât be doing that again.
I am happy that heâs happy, even though he hurt me. But itâs just the whole why couldnât he be happy with me thing.

Iâve dated plenty of lovely women where we werenât right for each other and it was better that we split up. Nothing necessarily wrong, just not compatible.

If he didnât want you, itâs his loss. And if he was lying to you, heâs not worth pining over. (Yeah, I know, easier said than done).
Letting go of him will at least leave a space in your life to be happy in and of yourself, and hopefully allow someone in whoâll bring you joy.
Now, do you have any physical mementos of the relationship? If so, is there anywhere you can burn them? Speaking from experience, that does help.
