I think OP is complaining about a subreddit being filled with off-theme stuff.
Mildly infuriating is like the fact Ikea doesn’t put sporks in their silverware sets when it’s clearly the best utensil.
He’s saying people are mis-using the subreddit.
Comment on What mildly infuriates me is the lack of content control in this sub
TCB13@lemmy.world 1 year agoThe way I see it, the OP is the one crying about his views being oppressed by opposite views… Why do people go for that, why can’t he simply scroll over the posts that offend him? or comment instead of getting all triggered ?

(sporks are) clearly the best utensil.

I understand that you don’t think that OP should complain about posts that don’t belong in a community dedicated to ONE VERY SPECIFIC THING.
If I go to the Lego store and it’s full of lingerie, I’m hoping to be confused, check where I am, and then say, “Why do you guys keep stocking underwear instead of Lego?”
“OH MY GOD! STOP CENSORING ME! I LIKE LINGERIE AND THAT’S MY RIGHT! IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, QUIETLY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND BE ANTI UNDERWEAR YOU FASCIST!!!”
Ok, that’s fine, but this is a LEGO store.
You often get upset over people telling you to put your things where they belong, don’t you?
