Maybe they didn’t have the source. Again, we’re on the shitpost community. I think it’s unreasonable to expect people to research the sources for every meme that they shitpost. Especially when they’re a power-user like OP and post 30-some times a day.

Yes, I do. In this case I think it’s vital to link to the source, since the meme make it look like this garbage was a real thing.
