Not knowing this song, that line could be interpreted as a school shooting song. Does “Pumped Up Kicks” have some competition? And people say America has no identity.

They’re not explicitly a Christian rock group. Amy Lee and Ben Moody met as teens at a Christian youth camp, and Christian radio loved to play Bring Me to Life because they thought it referenced the resurrection.
