Because cocaine is more profitable.
You can make money as a stoner selling weed but as a cokehead selling blow you’ll never make any.
The guy who sold weed in college owned his own bar right when the rest of us started paying our student loans.
Graduated to selling legal, socially approved drugs.
I didn’t keep in contact, but if I had to guess it was more about cleaning his money. Weed is just too lucrative.
