fartographer@lemmy.world 12 hours agoWe should be at the point where RTO orders for positions that could be remote should also be considered a form of wage theft. Instead, we’re at a point where every hour, your employer steals what you get paid per day.

If employers had to pay employees for their commute time, that would be the end of RTO.
Maybe. I still don’t understand the economics of making people come in to work when the companies have to pay rent on the spaces where employees work.
