You’re absolutely right to push back on this. 20mg was not the recommended dose, after all. Google is an excellent source of reliable information and it’s always best to consult with a search engine any time you’re researching recreational drug use.

Fair. But I get the vibe this event was pre-2024

For people who dont smoke, 5-10mg of edibles is still a really bad time. I’m constantly having to remind my smoker friends of this when they’re advising first timers.

Yeah, 2.5mg is a great dose for someone with little tolerance.

I support legalized psychedelics and party drugs and for them to be available at appropriate events, but the dose problem is a concern I have for it.

Or better yet, actually have lived a little as a teen when you were young enough to bkinc eback quickly and easily and known by adulthood exactly what your limits are and what dose will give you the best time.

But failing that, for the people who waited til adulthood to remove the stock from their asses, yes, there are many ways to learn what you should start with, among them: asking the people who sold it to you (they have a vested interest in making sure you have a good time so you’ll buy more), asking the people you’re doing it with (they probably removed the sticks from their asses long enough ago to have some idea what’s what), and yes, even Googling it.

Adult here who has not yet “removed the stock from my ass”, and never plan to. My ass, my choice.

Ok, as long as you aren’t voting to mandate sticks in anyone else’s ass, then you do you.

But if you support banning things I might enjoy just bcs you don’t or bcs some asshole convinced you my enjoyment of that vice was somehow a danger to children, then I genuinely hope someone kicks that stick far enough in to do some real damage.
