  I’m not sure I agree with your definition of a game, but I am certain I can’t work out the meaning of what you have written here.

  But I would argue that if there is any interactive element, you can’t say it’s a movie either. Just because one section doesn’t require player input doesn’t mean the entire thing plays itself.

        I play games. I watch visual entertainment. TTRPGs are games. A game where I don’t get to do anything that impacts anything about anything in the game, to me, isn’t much of a game to me. It’s wait-for-player-to-interact visual entertainment—not much different than those games you got on DVDs.
